As Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, and Tsukishima talk, Yamaguchi suddenly turns red as Tsukishima whispers something. “Yamaguchi, are you okay?” Hinata asks, “You look a bit red”. Tsukishima shifts and Yamaguchi says, “Yeah, we actually wanna tell you something”. Hinata smiles, “What is it?” Kageyama only stayed silent. “Well… We’re dating!” Yamaguchi exclaims.
“Omg congratulations!!!” Hinata yells, “Since when??”. They’re both blushing at this point from how loud Hinata is being. “W-well-” Yamaguchi starts but Tsukishima interjects, “None of your business shrimp”. Yamaguchi giggles, “We’ll be leaving now, don’t be too early for practice tomorrow!”.
Hinata glances back at Kageyama since he had been more quiet than usual. “Are you okay Bakayama?” Hinata asks. All Kageyama says is, “Ew, gay”.
Hinata tenses and his eyebrows furrowed together, “What do you mean by that?”. “I mean I don’t think being gay is good” Kageyama says. “That’s so rude!” Hinata pouts, “plus, who are you to choose if being gay is right?”. “It just doesn’t seem right,” he replies. Hinata huffs out, “I’ll show you being gay is okay”.

A few days had passed and Hinata and Kageyama both had forgotten about that conversation. Everyone knew that a few girls liked Kageyama, but no one knew that Hinata also liked him. Well except Yamaguchi, who happened to stumble upon Hinata stealing Kageyama’s hoodie.
Yamaguchi and Hinata were both standing in the middle of the hallway talking. Then Yamaguchi gasped, “Oh! You remember promising me a dare?”. “Oh no, what is it?” Hinata asked. “Hehe.. I dare you to wear pigtails and act like a girl,” Yamaguchi whispered, “and no taking it off until I tell you to,”. Hinata’s mouth hung open, “Why???”. “Why not?” Yamaguchi tried to hold in his laughter, “Here have these hair ties,”. Hinata grumbled something about how he shouldn’t have asked Yamaguchi for help as he hesitantly put his hair up into small pigtails.
Kageyama, on the other hand, had a bit of a problem. He was currently trying to run away from this psycho girl who was confessing to him. In a very aggressive way. She was currently chasing him and yelling after him, “Come on! I know you want to, you’re just embarrassed!”.
Rolling his eyes, he tried to think of a way to make her stop. Maybe he could try to outrun her? No, she was abnormally fast. Maybe lie and tell her he was dating someone? But who would he say he was dating? “Oh! Maybe I can kiss someone to make her stop” he thought (a horrible idea).
He slowed down to try and find an unsuspecting girl to kiss. For some reason, there were no girls in sight.
Suddenly, he saw a girl with small pigtails talking to Yamaguchi. Kageyama was in a rush and didn’t have time to realize that they were wearing a male uniform and had a very masculine body shape for a girl.
He grabbed her shoulders and swung her around to face him. Both Yamaguchi and the girl looked surprised as the girl managed to ask, “U-um Kageyama what are yo-” but he didn’t let him finish and kissed her.
Yamaguchi burst into laughter and caught the attention of a few students. Of course they looked away when they saw the situation: two people kissing and a very heartbroken looking girl standing in shock. The girl started crying and ran away quickly, probably to go find her friends.
Tsukishima had appeared at some point and was trying to understand what Yamaguchi was trying to tell him between his wheezes. The girl pushed him off and tried to hide her face as her ears turned red.
Tsukishima finally realized and his face quickly morphs into understanding. Then he smirks, “Wow the king must need glasses if he can’t notice that,”. “Notice what?!” Kageyama huffed, “All I was trying to do was help myself,”. Tsukishima went on, “I was talking about the poor boy you just traumatized,” he said, pointing at the girl.
“Boy...?” Kageyama finally looked at the girl again, “That’s a girl”. Tsukishima slapped his face, “Come on Tadashi, let’s go before we catch their stupid”.
“W-why did you do that Bakayama!!?” the girl yelled. “Woah you sound like a boy, do you have a cold?” Kageyama asked. Hinata was still flustered as he reached up and pulled his hair out of the pigtails. "No I do not have a cold but you must be insane!" Hinata frowned, though he was still blushing.
"Wait..." Kageyama said, "Hinata?!". "Yes you dumbass!" he yelled, getting more flustered from the frustration. "You got my hopes up for a second," he mumbled quiet enough that Kageyama couldn't hear him. It's Kageyama's turn to blush now, "W-wait.. I didn't mean.. I didn't know.." he said slowly. "Well you took my first kiss are you happy now?" Hinata tried to sound mad, but he was over the moon that Kageyama had been his first kiss. Kageyama responded, "Of course I didn't mean to why should I be happy boke?!".
"Whatever let's just go to class.." Hinata sighed, "and don't kiss me this time".
"Wasn't planning on it" Kageyama replied. in secret he was confused to why he didn't hate the kiss, but that was for another day
