A young guy in a black short sleeved shirt is standing in front of a canvas and looking at what he painted a while ago. His studio has a south-facing window so that the natural lighting could help a lot for his painting. For now, light through the window is falling straight to his face and you could see his unsatisfied expression on his handsome face. There is a couple who are kissing on the canvas in front of him. You could easily tell that he painted that one and that’s the one that makes him unsatisfied.
Of course, Jinyoung is thinking about how his painting is unnatural. He could feel that the picture lacked of something. But he doesn’t know what it is. He spends a whole day trying to figure it out but still he can’t find an exact answer. He tries to relax and then sends sms to his best friend, Yoon Hyunsuk to come over.
Yoon Hynsuk and Bae Jinyoung have been friends for almost a decade. There are no secrets between them and whenever one of them is feeling unwell or having some problems, the other would come over.
Yoon Hyunsuk is a hot guy and popular among girls. And of course, he is a playboy. He loves to play around with girls but never crosses the line though he kisses several girls.
Jinyoung thought Hyunsuk might be a great help to paint what he wants since he has experience with kissing. So he invited his friend to come over.
After a while, Jinyoung could hear the sound of unlocking the door's passcode.
Of course, they also know each other's passcode of their apartment.
When the door has unlocked, a tall figure quickly comes towards his friend wearing a worried look on his face. He said , " What happened, dear ? "
" Hey calm down! Don't worry too much. Nothing happened. It's just I am not unsatisfied with my art," Jinyoung said.
" Unsatisfied with your art, " now Hyunsuk's facial expression is more like he is confusing.
Jinyoung just nodded without saying another word.
Hyunsuk sighed, " That's strange. I've never heard that comes from your mouth. You are someone who always appreciates and is satisfied with your art and ignores the other's judgement. I know you more than anyone. Am I wrong ? "
Jinyoung doesn't know how to put words. All Hyunsuk said about him is true and he can't deny it. But is it that serious for unsatisfying his work? He doesn't think so.
The atmosphere is silent again.
Hyunsuk let out another sigh. He looks softer than before and asks Jinyoung softly as if he soothes a pouting kid.
" Can you tell me more, Jinyoungie, so that I can help you with that such as what is your painting? , why are you unsatisfied with that? "
Jinyoung feels warm at that moment and he leans towards Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk opens his arms for him like always. Now Jinyoung is at Hyunsuk's embrace and he feels safe and better. So he started talking about it.
" You know I always want to challenge everything including my painting skills right ? "
Hyunsuk nods at the words and Jinyoung continues.
" You also know that I mostly paint scenery but not humans. "
" Yes, I know. "
" A while ago, I started drawing human portraits and I am satisfied with my new arts. "
" Then why ? "
" But you know ? I try to paint a kissing couple, it's okay if we just care about color grading and so many others things but it's lack of something and I just figured it out, it's lack of feeling "
" What do you mean ? "
" You know I've never kissed someone before, right ? I think that's why I can't give a suitable feeling through my art. "
" Can you show me the painted art ? "
" Come with me! "
They both are so closed, so they barely ask permission from each other to come over or whatever except Jinyoung's studio. Jinyoung never let Hyunsuk go into his studio without his permission.
Hyunsuk doesn't know anything about arts. But his best friend always calls and shows him his works. So he is more familiar with paintings now. At least, he could tell it is good or bad.
When he saw what Jinyoung painted, he also felt like something's wrong. Maybe Jinyoung is right. It lacks feeling.
" So do you plan to kiss someone to fill the feelings ? " Hyunsuk asked a stupid question. He doesn't know why but he is afraid of his innocent best friend being kissed by others.
" You know me so well, " Jinyoung said with an amused look on his face.
" Why would you abandon your innocence just for a painting ? " Hyunsuk frowned.
" Why would I ? " Jinyoung raised his eyebrows and continued, " I just need you to teach me how to kiss."
" That's goooo….. wait what, " Hyunsuk shouted in shock. For some reason, his heart is beating as if there was an earthquake inside it.
" You just need to tell me the exact way of kissing and how you feel when you kiss someone. I think that's enough," Jinyoung said.
Hyunsuk is still unconscious. He doesn't know what to say. And then he heard a very soft voice whispering right into his ears, " Teach me ". Those two words can definitely send shiver down to his spine.
He could feel the heat inside his body.
Jinyoung doesn't know what happened to Hyunsuk, so he just gives him a smile hopefully and that makes Hyunsuk more horny. Hyunsuk feels strange. He has never felt this kind of feeling even when he is with his so-called girlfriends.
At the end, he can't resist Jinyoung's cuteness and starts talking about kissing.
When he teaches him the details, his eyes are on Jinyoung lips and don't move at all.
He keeps staring at Jinyoung's pinkish lips and tells, " When you want to kiss someone, you will know that you want to kiss. It's so simple. You probably can't take your eyes off that someone's lips "
Hyunsuk stops his words and takes a deep breath, until he feels warm on his nose caused by Jinyoung because he talks to Hyunsuk so closely.
He said, " Just like you staring at my lips. "
Hyunsuk's mind goes blank, all he could feel is Jinyoung's fingers touching his lips.
" You want to kiss me right now. Am I wrong ? "
" What… what do you mean? We are best friends. Why would I want to kiss you?", Hyunsuk's voice is shaking.
" Ahh I see. But best friends can kiss too! "
Jinyoung gives a peck on Hyunsuk's lips. His hands are running up and down through Hyunsuk's chest.
Hyunsuk doesn't know anything anymore. All he wants to do is to feel the taste of Jinyoung's lips for more seconds. He doesn't have time to think about first, he just pulls Jinyoung closer and places his lips on his, tilts his head a bit to the opposite direction of Jinyoung's head, holds Jinyoung's head with his one hand and his other hand is on Jinyoung's waist.
After seconds, Jinyoung pulls him away and looks into his eyes. Hyunsuk definitely knows that his eyes might be telling he wants more. Jinyoung smirks showing that he knows.
This time, Jinyoung leans in for more kisses. It takes a while till Hyunsuk comes to his senses to realize that he is kissing his innocent best friend. He feels so embarrassed and pulls Jinyoung away.
"Sorry, I just realized that I didn't lock my door before coming here. I need to go back in hurry. See you later."
Jinyoung just smiles and watches Hyunsuk left. At least, he is now sure that Hyunsuk has feelings for him too.
Jinyoung has secretly fallen for Hyunsuk for almost 10 years, to be exact it started way before they became closed.
Hyunsuk is really popular back then and till now. It's impossible for Jinyoung not to know Hyunsuk though Hyunsuk might not know him. At first, Hyunsuk was just a popular student for him. But one day, Jinyoung came to watch the basketball race and saw Hyunsuk was playing. He is really good looking when he plays basketball. That's how Jinyoung fell for him.
Then he tried to be close with him and it's a success. He spends 10 years for one-sided love. Today he also doesn't know what's gotten into him and plots this just to kiss Hyunsuk and makes sure he has feelings for him too.
It’s been a month since their first kiss, Hyunsuk never shows up in front of Jinyoung again. Jinyoung really feels sad. He thought he shouldn’t do it like that back then. But that thought doesn’t last long cause he received a message from Hyunsuk.
“ Teach me how to love you, I will teach you back how to kiss me. “
