Chapter Text
Izuku didn’t know what led up to this happening, but all he knows for sure is that now something was very different about this world. Not just different, off.. Like something was missing. Like he
was in the wrong place.
That's when he realized it, he wasn’t in the same body.. The right body. He was in the body of an infant, this wasn’t right.. He tried closing his eyes and just waiting until his brain stopped playing tricks on him, but even after keeping his eyes closed for a near thirty seconds and still being in the same body, he knew that this wasn’t just some trick of the light.
Alright, what was the last thing he remembered from when he was in the right body.. Well, he was in a fight with a villian, and the villain was really strong, strong enough that even pro hero Deku couldn’t defeat it by himself. He had called for backup, and was just trying to hold the villain off, not really trying to fight it.
Then, out of nowhere, he had fainted.. Was it the villains quirk? Was it a sudden injury, or an injury that had been there the whole time, but was just affecting him? Who knows, but now was not the time to think about that.
Either way, he had fainted. And now, he was in the body of a baby. Had he died? Was this his new life? That would make sense, but still, had he really died?
Maybe he should look around a bit more, maybe I’m not in the body of a little kid, it just seems like it. He looked around a bit, or really as much as his tiny neck would allow. He was, for sure, an infant. He was in a hospital, well really the part of the hospital they put babies after they’re born. He was also covered in a blanket, in a small crib, so that kind of just screamed ‘Hey, you died and now you were reborn again’. He wondered how long it had been since he had died, maybe he was reborn at the same time that he died or maybe it had taken a while to find a new body for his soul..
Oh, there were what must be his new family! A few people walked into the room, directly towards him. A man who appeared to be in his thirties and a teenage-ish looking boy. The mother would probably still be in her room, recovering.
The Man, presumably the father, had dark black, nearly blue hair, that was very neat and stuck to the sides of his head like it was attached with glue and light blue eyes that seemed to stare directly into him, not even at him. He was wearing a loose T-shirt that had some english writing on it that he couldn’t read. He looked very sleep deprived, and didn’t have a quirk that affected his physical appearance, at least while it wasn’t being used, because he had no abnormal features.
The Teenage-ish looking boy, who was probably his new brother, had medium length dirty blond hair, messily tied into a short ponytail, held with a lacey black ribbon. He had a duller version of his fathers bright electric blue eyes, they had the same color, but slightly more pastel, and they didn’t have the same effect of staring into his soul. They appeared friendly, but very, very tired. They must have stayed up for quite some time while the wife was pregnant.. That would make sense. The boy was wearing a shirt with a cartoon character on it.
He looked very friendly, kind of like the friend that everyone could trust, because they were very friendly, but they also were very smart and just knew a lot about almost everything. Like an owl.. That was kind of what an owl was like, or at least how they were described.
“He’s beautiful..”
The father was now staring down at him, it was slightly awkward but then again Izuku was in the body of an infant, this happened a lot to them, so maybe for now he should just get used to it. God, this must be annoying for babies, he promised himself in the future he would never do this to a baby if he ever saw one.
Well, now he was one, so he should think about that for now.
God, this was gonna be a long day.
