Eren literally melts when Levi notices things his friends or parents don’t.
One time, Eren came back home from the nail salon, upset. There was this middle-aged woman who was trying to get her nails free and claiming she doesn't have any money. The manager was called and she had a fit. Not only that, this morning, when he tried going to work, there was construction where Eren usually takes to go, causing him to be late to work today. Granted it was not a happy day for Eren.
Levi somehow noticed and the minute Eren sat down on the couch sighing, he got up and went into their room. Eren was confused with what just happened, and was too tired to even bother caring.
Levi on the other hand went into their closet and pulled out a blanket, pillows, and a small little bag full of nail supplies. Now, Levi was no expert on nails but if Eren was in bad mood or had a terrible day, he was willing to do it. He knew his Eren had a rough day by the ways his eyes droop down a bit as if he were tired. Levi knew better.
Coming back from their room, Levi sets the things he brought down and sat on the couch. Eren was even more confused when he saw his nail supplies with Levi.
“Levi..? Why did you bring out my supplies?” he asks with a small hint of amusement. “Well, ” he starts off grabbing the pillows and blanket “I know you had a rough day today, so I thought I would try and make it better.” Erens eyes widened, how did he know? “I'm fine, everything was okay at work today.” Levi looks at Eren unconvinced, “Nice try babe, your ears are red.”
Finally giving in after 2 minutes of convincing, Eren has his feet propped up on a pillow that's on Levi's knees while snuggling into the blanket Levi brought.
“Hey, ” Eren said bringing his head up from the blanket “Thank you for doing this.” Levi, finishing his last touches looks up and smiles so small you might think he didn't smile at all “Of course, baby I would do anything for you.” leaning forward, Eren and him gave each other small little pecks.
Yeah, ‘It the little things that matter’, Eren thought.
