“You fucking idiot!” the voice rang angrily through the living room. Hanbin’s head snapped to the side as his cheek stung.
“Hyung, please - !”
“Shut up. Just shut up you fucking insect. You disgust me!” Hyunmin snapped, shoving Hanbin so hard he fell down painfully.
“I know – I know I fucked up!” Hanbin begged from the floor, blubbering.
“You think?!” his brother yelled, furious. Hyunmin’s eyes glowed red as his scent thickened bitterly. “God why are you so fucking stupid?” Hyunmin demanded rhetorically. Pacing up and down the room, fury evident in every action.
“I know! I know okay?!... Just – just help me! Help me get out of this!” Hanbin was still on the floor, Hyunmin was tempted to kick the pathetic alpha who was now all but grovelling.
“I made the docket vanish and the report on the fire disappear, I had to call in so many favours. Then you went and got some goons to do your dirty work for you, and you couldn’t even do that right? And you’re asking me to help you again? Unbelievable.” He spat, venom dripping from his voice. Hanbin was a disgrace of an alpha, weak and useless.
“Hyung please!! Please! I can’t go to jail!” he begged, still on the floor.
“You should have thought about that before you let an omega get under your skin!”
Hyunmin couldn’t believe this. Why did he always have to clean up his younger brother’s messes? If Hanbin only knew how to be a proper alpha then none of this would have happened. If only Hanbin had been an omega instead then Hyunmin could have excused his impulsive and emotional behaviour.
“I know that! I know! – but that fucking Jaemin was so arrogant, he’s so – !“ Hanbin began, trying to explain, defend himself.
Hyunmin stopped pacing at the mention of a familiar name, “Jaemin? Na Jaemin?”
Hanbin nodded, suddenly confused. It seemed that his brother knew him.
Hyunmin stood still, the cogs in his head turning. He had an idea.
“I’ll help you.” He finally said, once again calm and imposing, but his anger was not completely gone as his plan solidified in his mind.
“Thank you hyung! Thank you! Wh – what do you need me to do?” Hanbin stumbled to his feet, overcome with relief.
“Nothing. You will do nothing. You’re going to let the cops do their job, we’re going to go to court.”
“What?? No! No no no I can’t get charged!”
“You’re not –the case is going to be thrown out, and Jaemin will be the one to do it.”
