On February 13th, you got a call from your girlfriend Kugisaki Nobara at around 3 am. “Do you know what time it is?” You groaned after you picked up the phone.
“Sorry! I was staying up a bit late today to finish watching this drama, and I realized I forgot to tell you something.” You hear her smile.
“What is it?” You sit up on your bed.
“You know how I said that I wouldn’t be able to visit you on Valentine’s Day because of school regulations?”
“Yeah.”
“Gojo convinced the other teachers that we’re strong enough to protect ourselves on our own and that we don’t need to be monitored by the school! Well, all of us except Itadori. He has to stay under supervision. . . for obvious reasons.” She sighed after that last part. “I feel really bad for him, we should definitely get him something.”
“Wait- So you’re saying that you’re going to come to visit me?!” You ask, excited. You lived in Morioka, which was more than six hours away from Tokyo, which was where Nobara went to school. This meant that you two didn’t get to see each other often. You were in a long-distance relationship. Any time that you got to spend with her, you cherished.
“Mhm,” You could hear her chuckle over the phone. “I’m so excited! I’ll probably get there tomorrow morning! I’m about to start planning out our date for tomorrow!”
“That’s amazing, Nobara! I can’t wait!” You exclaimed.
“Haha, we’re going to have so much fun!” You heard her typing something on her computer. “I’ll let you get back to sleep now. Goodnight!”
You giggled, “See you tomorrow!”

On Valentine’s Day, you again woke up to a call from your girlfriend, this time at 7 AM. Right when you answered it, she said, “Morning cutie!”
“Mmm, good morning,” You stretched your legs.
“Do you know what day it is?” She mused.
“Hm?” You checked the date on your phone. “Oh! It’s Valentine’s Day!”
“Yep! And guess where I am?” You heard a knock on your door.
“No way,” you gasped and ran to the door.
When you opened it you saw your orange-haired girlfriend wearing a gigantic grin on her face. Before she could say anything, you wrapped her in a hug. “I missed you so much!”
“Ah, me too,” She wrapped her arms around your neck. “Alright so, I need you to change into your best clothes.”
You pulled back and eyed Nobara. She was wearing a cute yellow sundress that cut a few inches above your knees. “Your outfit is adorable.”
“I know right!”
“Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise! Make sure you look as good as you can.” She orders.
You salute, “Yes ma’am!”
After you change into your favorite clothes, Nobara leads you out of your apartment. She still doesn’t tell you where you guys are going, but you know that she has a plan. She always has a plan, and she always puts in so much effort to make sure that you have a good time. She was so considerate, kind, and strong, you admired everything about her.
She stops in front of an arcade, “First stop!”
“This is where we’re going for our date?”
“Well, this is only the beginning. Going to arcades is like, a basic couple thing. You have to do it. Let’s see who’ll get the most points. We can play that dance game you like.” She winks.
“Yeah!” Even though it was embarrassing, you liked to play DDR whenever you were at the arcade. When Nobara first learned this she laughed really hard, even more, when she realized you were actually serious about liking it. During winter break, she decided to go to the arcade with you, and you both had a great time playing the game. Since Nobara couldn’t see you in person much, you’d only played it on that day.
Nobara bought you both a bunch of tokens to play the games. You wanted to at least pay for half of the tokens, but Nobara insisted that she was treating you today. “Do you want to start with DDR or play some other stuff first?”
“We can play some of the other games. I know if we start playing DDR I’ll never want to stop.” You laugh and Kugisaki reaches up to pinch your cheeks. You swat her hands away, “Hey!”
“Not my fault you’re so cute,” She grins unapologetically.
You go bowling, see who can hit a button the hardest, spin wheels for prizes (Nobara said that it wasn’t as fun as playing an actual game for the points), play on the ice hockey machine, and a bunch of other games.
When you play DDR with her, you win almost every single game. The games that Nobara won were because she pushed you off of the machine. You told her it was cheating but she said, ‘That’s what losers say.’. You thought it was funny that Nobara kept trying (and succeeded a couple times) to push you off, but you still won way more than she did. “How’s it feel to be in second place?” You tease.
“Shut up,” She ran her hands through her hair. “That was so tiring, I need water.”
“There's a water fountain over there,” You point to the bathrooms.
“‘Kay, I’ll be right back.”
When Nobara finishes up, she leads you to your next location.

“Soo, on the schedule right now is looking for a gift for Itadori.”
“Okay.”
“What do you think he’ll like?”
“Probably anything.”
“I guess. . . maybe we should buy a stuffed animal? Or chocolates? Or both?”
“What if instead of buying all that stuff we just got him a, like, gigantic teddy bear?”
“Ah, that’s a good idea, but do you really want to be carrying it around all day?”
“Not particularly- how about a medium-sized one?”
“That could work. We just have to find a store that sells them.” You two walk around town a bit, holding hands, and looking for a store.
When you finally got to one, you couldn’t find a teddy bear, so you and Kugisaki decided to just get a bunny.
“I love shopping,” Nobara said as you walked out of the store.
“Everyone knows,” You smile.
Her eyes look like they’re sparkling, “I’m having a lot of fun already.”
“Right, and it’s only-” You check the time. “10 am.”
“So much more to doo!” She sings. “Okay! Our next stop is food!”

After you eat, you and Nobara go to the park and walk around for a bit. Then you go to the movie theater and watch a couple of scary movies (you were clinging to your girlfriend most of the time; she doesn’t get scared easily). Next, you go shopping with her for clothes (she actually lets you pay for a couple of them), then you guys head home at around 8 PM.
“Are you sleeping over?” You ask her as you open the door to your apartment.
“‘Course I am- I gotta leave early in the morning, though.”
“Aw, okay. By the way, I got you a present.”
Her eyes light up, “Really?”
“Yep,” Nobara sits on the couch while you walk over to get it.
Nobara had been talking to you about this necklace she saw a while ago, and thought was the most elegant thing to ever exist. She saw an ad for it on her phone, and when she was trying to tap the screen to see the brand, she accidentally swiped it off her screen. She kept looking, but she could never find it again. You happened to see a necklace online that looked similar to what she would always describe, so you bought it.
You handed her the box, it was wrapped in Valentine's day wrapping paper. “Ah, this is so cute!” She squealed as she opened the box.
When she saw the necklace, her eyes widened. “NO WAY! YOU DIDN’T!”
You laugh, “Is it the right one?”
“YES!” She’s tearing up right now, “I- THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
She jumps to give you a hug, “I love you, Nobara.” You say as you wrap your arms around her.
“I love you too, so much.” Her lips pressed against yours.
You melted into her. When you ran out of breath, she took her mouth off yours and gave you a quick kiss on the tip of your nose. “I wish I could stay with you here, forever.” She mumbled.
“Same,” You smiled softly.

You and Nobara end up staying up late talking. She tells you about her friends from school and the funny things that they had done. She tells you about the cursed spirits she exorcised, about all of the places in Tokyo, and more.

You fell asleep before her, so when you woke up she wasn’t there. You missed her already. You got up to get breakfast and saw all of your favorite snacks on the table, and a note from Nobara saying:
'I didn’t get a chance to give you these yesterday! I hope you enjoy them. Happy Valentine's Day! And don’t sulk! I know you’re going to sulk! That’s no way to spend your day. I’ll be working hard so I can come back and see you as soon as I can. So you BETTER do the same, or else.
