Chapter Text
It was supposed to be a good day. The sun was shining, all the bills were paid, and Seokjin woke up with 5 boyfriends around him.
(They couldn't find Namjoon until 2 hours later, they caught him watching a caterpillar going across their fence)
But Seokjin didn't get a lot of sleep last night. He took a cold shower- something he knew would wake him up- and stayed up until 3:26AM reading a book about some poor kid at a candy factory.
So when Seokjin woke up, he woke up tired. That doesn't automatically mean he's grumpy, it just means his patience will be thinner than most days.
After eating breakfast and taking another shower, he just... sat on the couch. He was tired enough that he could barely do mundane tasks on account of how sluggish he was, but he just couldn't fall asleep.
He decided the best thing to do was distract himself from how sleepy he was by scrolling through Instagram. He ended up on some anime edits, and one of them had a lullaby playing over some tall grey haired guy with a volleyball. Or maybe a soccer ball. Uh oh.
Jin was falling asleep. And hard. He knew he was falling asleep, of course, and tried to get himself up, but his body was not cooperating.
All his boyfriends were upstairs, because apparently Jungkook was exercising or something. He didn't really hear.
But Yoongi stayed downstairs, opting to watch some Christmas movie. It was March. He noticed Seokjin was spacing out, and decided to watch him scroll.
After about 5 minutes of watching, he noticed Seokjin closing his eyes and staying like that. Seokjin's body was in a uncomfortable position and Yoongi knew if he stayed like that he would probably wake up with a crick in his neck.
So he gently tapped Seokjin's shoulder and whispered, "Hyungie. Hyungie, wake up. You'll be sore if you sleep like that." effectively making Seokjin jerk awake and try to blink his sleepiness out of his eyes.
Yoongi grabbed his hand and started to pull Seokjin off the couch.
"Come on, that can't be good for your spine at all."
Jin nodded, slightly hearing what he said. He followed Yoongi like a drunkard following their best friend out of the bar.
They got up the stairs and eventually made it to the bedroom with the giant bed (formerly Namjoon's room, but he surprised them with the bed for their 4th anniversary).
Yoongi set down Seokjin on the bed, and Seokjin immediately grabbed all blankets on the bed and covered himself. Yoongi was sure that was the cutest thing he'd ever seen.
Jin peeked his head out from the blankets and looked at Yoongi. He reached out his hand and said something that Yoongi would never forget.
"Can you nap with me and play with my hair?"
It didn't seem like it was special thing for Yoongi to hear. But it was. Of course his boyfriends liked to cuddle with him, but they were the ones who would come in the room and lie down next to him and pet his head until they were asleep. He can't think of a time where he was the one standing while someone was on the bed wanting to cuddle with him.
Yoongi took his hand and cuddled up next to him, pressing a soft kiss on his forehead in the process. Seokjin pressed his head against Yoongi's chest and let out a sigh. Yoongi rested his hands on Seokjin's soft hair and began scratching softly.
Seokjin wakes up hours later, and is confused the the book ends with a glass elevator.
