Summary:

Literally the title of the fic.

Notes:

I honestly don't know where something this fluffy came from, because I am an angsty ball of sarcasm, but uh...

Here you go.

Work Text:

Genos loves his sensei because of multiple reasons.

Genos loves that his sensei is powerful, stunningly destructive, but also that he is gentle beyond belief. Saitama often reigns in his powers when he is fighting to try to avoid destruction, and he also restrains himself whilst doing the most mundane activities. Saitama restrains himself when he opens a door, when he cooks, when he holds Genos’s hand. Saitama is power and destruction, but he is also a gentle wave lapping at a sandy beach. And Genos loves that he is both.

Genos loves that Saitama gets this glimmer in his usually emotionless eyes when he talks about sales. Genos loves that the hero is so meticulous with his sales that he will plan his calendar weeks before a sale to prepare for it. Genos loves that Saitama has something to care about, and hopes that one day Saitama will get that same glimmer in his eyes when he looks at him.

Genos loves that his sensei is so carefree, that Saitama never lets things bother him the way that things bother Genos. Saitama never cares if he get hit by rubble or a flying punch, or if he is the victim of ridicule. Saitama rolls with the punches and takes the blame for things that aren’t even his fault. And Genos loves and respects him for it.

Genos also loves how determined Saitama can get when properly motivated, or how lazy he can be when there is nothing to do. Genos loves when Saitama lazes about in nothing but his pajama bottoms when it is insufferably hot outside (or so he is told), and when Saitama bundles up with four blankets during winter and demands that Genos come to cuddle with him. And, the sucker that he is for his sensei, he listens.

Genos loves how Saitama is so sensitive about his bald head; because that merely shows that he is human. Genos loves how Saitama blushes ever so slightly when he gets flustered or embarrassed, and how he goes beet red when he is aroused. Genos loves how Saitama can make him forget about every bad thing in the world when he is with him.

Genos is a sucker for Saitama’s sweet smile, and also his flustered face, shy grin, and embarrassed yelling. Genos is a sucker for his sensei.

Genos adores that his Saitama still allows for him to call him sensei even though they started dating almost six months ago. Saitama still has much that he can teach Genos, whether it is about humanity and love, or power, only time can tell.

Genos loves that Saitama wears his pink apron when he is cooking under the guise of ‘I don’t want to get my clothes dirty,’ when Genos knows that he wears it because Genos had told him he looks cute in it. Saitama had started wearing it a lot more after he told him that. And Genos loves it when he does, because the bow of the apron ties up against his sensei’s lower back and the strings of the bow flutter around his sensei’s ass as he moves.

Genos loves how compassionate his sensei is, and how he can let his compassion be his downfall. When Saitama fought the Deep Sea King, he didn’t think twice about saying that the monster was weakened, about how easy it was because he was able to rely on the other heroes to weaken the monster, even though that was all a lie. Because Saitama is compassionate, and Genos loves him unconditionally for it.

Genos is so in love with his sensei that it is almost laughable, but his sensei never questioned if it was real love. His sensei never asked if he could actually feel real emotions, or if they were a simulation given to him by his robotic body. Because his sensei knew. His sensei knew that Genos had been told by ignorant people that he was emotionless, too cold and hard to love and be loved in return. His sensei knew that his love is real, that he has a human brain even though he is robotic, and Genos loves his sensei for his quiet understanding.

Genos loves the feel of his sensei’s lips against his own as they fight a battle of dominance, or as his sensei says good-bye as he leaves for a sale. Genos loves the feel of his sensei’s body against his own as Saitama spoons him from behind, and loves when his sensei allows him to hold him in return. Genos loves how chocolatey brown and warm Saitama’s eyes are, and how there is only a small ring of dark brown left when his pupils dilate.

Genos loves his sensei’s soft, unblemished white skin. Genos loves the mole on his sensei’s left shoulder, and the dimple in his back when he rolls his shoulder. Genos loves Saitama’s toned legs, his rough feet, his shapely bottom, his strong back, his rock hard abs and pecs, his slender neck, his sharp jaw, Genos loves everything about his Saitama sensei.

Genos knows that he should dislike something about the bald man. Genos knows that it is not normal to adore everything about one person, good or bad, but he just can’t help it. Genos is helplessly in love, and falling so deep that he will never surface again.

That’s okay with me, Genos decides, because if there is one thing that Genos can do forever, its love his sensei.

Yes, Genos thinks, as he pulls Saitama closer, as Saitama grumbles in his sleep and settles again when he feels Genos’s warmth, I will definitely love him forever.

And Genos drifts off to sleep with all of the reasons that he loves Saitama at the forefront of his mind.
