Like him, like her.

Summary:

When they were born, Ochako could imagine his children being similar to Katsuki in their attitude as well as their physical features. Something that always generated a warm feeling in her chest. Although for many Katsuki's attitude could be rude, she admired his dedication and the passion he left in everything he did. Qualities that she wanted her little ones to have and achieve whatever they set their mind to. Little did she know that Katsuki wished the same.

Notes:

This was a little thread in my twitter account @milchrangel, inspired by @digitaltalesart promp. I tried to correct my grammar errors. Before start, i have to warning that english is no my native language and I'm still learning. If you have more corrections about it, please show me where so I can do something.

Thank you very much. This is my first time writing in english.

Work Text:

When they were born, Ochako could imagine his children being similar to Katsuki in their attitude as well as their physical features. Something that always generated a warm feeling in her chest.

Although for many Katsuki's attitude could be rude, she admired his dedication and the passion he left in everything he did. A man who would give everything for those who he loves, who would save anyone who needed him no matter what they thought of him.

Qualities that were hard to see, but that for her shone even brighter than the stars when they were out of town. Qualities that she wanted her little ones to have and achieve whatever they set their mind to.

Little did she know that Katsuki wished the same. That those two round-faced angels with reddish skin that he had just met have the perseverance and stubbornness of their mother, that they could be happy and face adversity with a smile.

And maybe, just maybe, their wishes came true.

Katsuo on the one hand was someone cheerful and talkative. According to Katsuki, his son reminded a lot of Ochako back in the UA days.

But even so, when her little boy had a goal in mind, she could see in his eyes the same almost furious determination that she saw in his father's eyes, breaking down any obstacle to reach his goal. Which didn't surprise her, after all, his name means "victory."

And speaking of the meanings of the names, Kazuki, the name of his second son (the youngest, for about two minutes) means "pleasant peace" and therefore she could tell that his little one was a walking contradiction.

Kazuki was somewhat quieter than his brother. But when he spoke, he could generate any kind of reaction, except something "peaceful", because if he had something to say, he would say it regardless of the consequences.

Even so, both parents could see that his actions and words were mostly more to take care of those he loved, a child who in his own way took care of his loved ones, just like his father. Like on that occasion that he did not hesitate to call his teacher "piece of shit", after he spoke negatively about the relationship between the heroes Deku and Shoto, claiming that it was something "aberrant". At that moment, according to Katsuo's words, the teacher grabbed his brother by the collar of his uniform as if he was going to lose control against the 9-year-old boy.

Then, in order to protect his brother, Katsuo hit him in the balls before being sent to the principal’s office. It goes without saying that when they were called and knowing the complete situation, Katsuki didn’t stop to repeat the action of his son. after that the teacher was fired. But he had to pay a fine for 'punching a civilian'.

And even with those little situations, Ochako never regretted what she wished for as soon as she held them in her arms when they were born.

Until now.

Her children were no longer her 'little ones' as she remembered, they were one step away from be teenagers. And with that more complicated situations could come.

She knew it in the moment he entered her home, hearing screams coming from the living room. She didn't think twice and ran there without even leaving his shoes at the entrance. What she found was something that, inevitably because of their personalities, had started to happen lately.

Kazuki was standing against the ceiling, while Katsuo watched him from below with a smirk. “You little shit let me down without exploding me, now!” The boy screamed from the ceiling, and Ochako thought that it was very rare for Kazuki.

“What the heck is going on?” She demanded, watching them both with a frown in her face. Katsuo muttered something that Ochako couldn’t hear, and then he put his index finger together with his thumb, generating a small explosion from Kazuki's back, who shot towards the sofa.

WKatsuo!" Ochako scold from her place, watching as her son looked away. "May I know what's wrong with you? You could have hurt your brother!" she continued, walking until she reached her side.

"What's wrong with me? Ask Kazuki that! The bastard told Futaba that the dessert she made for the class was spoiled and it made her cry!" He responded with annoyance, pointing to his brother who was getting to his feet.

"It was the truth! And if I had let you eat it, you would be at the doctor right now along with Kirishima. The fool swallowed it without noticing that the milk was soggy" The last part was almost a whisper, but it was something even Ochako could hear.

He was worried.

In his own way.

Ochako was about to add something since she understood the twins' concerns. But before it happened, Katsuo's voice echoed in the place. "You didn't have to tell that her dessert 'literally' sucked, you idiot!"

"It was the truth! That thing stinked like spoiled milk” He replied with annoyance, before rolling his eyes, trying to ignore his brother, "Even if you have a crush on her, you have to be honest when she does such disgusting things".

And that's where it all exploded.

Ochako was shocked by Kazuki's words, because she had no idea that her son had a 'crush' on someone.

She was distracted by that and before being brought to reality by hearing a hit against the ground, somehow. Now both twins were fighting with each other.

"Shit!" She said to herself, jumping on the sofa to be able to separate her children, touching them with her five fingers to activate her quirk in them, making them rise while holding them by their shirts.

"You two have to calm down!" Ochako exclaimed as she saw how they both struggled against her grip. Suddenly a burning smell began to reach her nose.

Kazuki was using his quirk, generating explosions from his feet to get closer to her brother despite being affected by zero gravity.

In one movement Ochako released Kazuki's grip, allowing him to advance just before taking him by the foot, pulling him back "If you continue to use your quirk you will hurt me. Do you want that, Kazuki?" She asked worry, watching as her son's features began to soften. It was then that the explosions of his feet stopped, revealing how his shoes had been reduced to ashes.

The twins remained floating, without making any movement, because somehow, they understood that they had crossed the line and that their mother was really angry even though she did not show it as much as her father did.

"Kazuki, you have to learn that not everyone can bear your sincerity, and that although it is a quality of yours, you can hurt people who matter to you or your brother.” She told him, trying to be serious, because despite being angry about her sons fighting, inside her she felt her chest warm.

After all, it brought back memories with Katsuki, besides that in a way she was also direct, maybe too much. “I know you do not do it with that intention, but Futaba is your friend and cried for your words, you have to admit that it was wrong and give her an apology".

“Ha! Told you” Katsuo exclaimed, pulling his lower eyelid while showing his tongue in victory. At that moment, Ochako turned his gaze to Katsuo, who trembled at the sight of his mother's gaze.

"And your Katsuo, you must not explode like that against your brother, much less use your quirk on him" The boy looked down, not daring to look at his mother or brother. "In a way, Kazuki is right. You must be honest even with whom you have a crush and I bet she would appreciate it more than a lie, I know that better than everybody” She added, smiling at both of her sons. "So you will behave and not will try to kill each other if I bring you down?"

"Yes mom" They nodded. Ochako let out a sigh of relief. She released them both briefly, lightly placing her hands against each other, causing them to begin to descend slowly until their feet touched the ground.

"And well?" Ochako asked, crossing her arms. The twins saw each other momentarily before sighing.

"I'm sorry I took you up to the ceiling, and for the small explosion too" Katsuo apologized, bringing his arm up to his neck, showing nervousness "I shouldn't have reacted like I did, and I think I understand the part of being honest with Futaba ..."

"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have used those words, or called you little shit" Kazuki let out in a sigh "I must understand that not everyone will take what I say as you do, sorry"

Both brothers smiled, then turned to see their mother, who saw them with a calmer expression. It was there that they realized that someone was at the entrance of the room, watching them with a smirk in his face. “Dad!?” The brothers exclaimed losing a bit of color in their faces.

"You two, go clean up and then come down and help me with the food" he ordered hoarsely, watching as his wife turned her head slightly to look at him.

They both nodded, passing his side. Katsuki reached out his hand, ruffling each other's hair. When the two were not in the room, he watched as Ochako approached her with a frown in her face.

"How long have you been there?" She asked, crossing her arms as she slightly raised her hips, trying to look annoyed. Katsuki smiled, reaching out to take her by the waist.

"I saw when you separated that pair of demons" He mentioned as he placed a kiss on her forehead. "You had everything under control, so I decided not to step in. They are calmer with you."

Ochako sighed as she felt Katsuki's warm lips on her forehead. He was still wearing his hero costume, perhaps he had preferred to go straight home before taking a shower at their agency unlike her.

She enjoyed that little kiss, because despite working together it was difficult to see each other during work. "They are like you, obviously they are calmer with me, you know".

Katsuki laughed, breaking away a little bit to see his wife in the eyes "They are more like you than you think, angel face" he argued, bringing his face dangerously close to his wife's. "They Explode because they did something to their ‘Crush’ and They can be direct in their words to protect their friends. Does that remind you of someone? "

Ochako's face began to turn red. But before she could answer anything, her husband's lips briefly took hers in a chaste kiss "I’m just kidding, but I really think they're really like you," he added, briefly. "Even so, they are still a pair of demons."

She laughed at that comment, to which Katsuki was delighted. Yes, maybe their children seemed to have a lot about her.

But he could see everything they had of Ochako, and that in addition to giving him hope that their children wouldn’t make the same mistakes as him, his chest warmed every time he was able to see the perfect combination of both, product of their love. Their little demons.
