those mornings when we kiss and surrender for an hour before we say a single word - david levithan, the lover's dictionary.
izuku doesn't think he will ever tire of kissing katsuki. nothing has ever felt more right than feeling those slightly chapped lips against his own, the scent of cinnamon invading his senses. he fits so perfectly in katsuki's strong and surprisingly gentle embrace - it makes him feel so safe and warm. his boyfriend is a little rough when he kisses but that's part of his charm, it's what makes kissing him even more enjoyable.
katsuki's kisses are so clearly him - his slight aggressive and passionate way of kissing is a mirror of how he is towards almost everything in life. nothing can compare really, because if izuku were to kiss any other person and not feel chapped and insistent lips all but trying to devour him, he would know it wasn't katsuki he's kissing. and kacchan is the only person wants, the only person he wants to give himself to in every way.
his boyfriend is ever-changing the way he kisses, making each kiss all the more exhilarating. he had always thought kissing sounded almost unappealing - and sometimes when he and katsuki kissed, it was more teeth clashing than lips moulding against each other. but still, each kiss managed to take his breath away even if it was just a simple peck.
there are the sleepy morning kisses that bakugou haphazardly presses against izuku's skin, his movements are sluggish and his eyes are soft and barely open. his lips mark feather light-kisses wherever they can in his drowsy state - sometimes it's izuku's chin, the corner of his mouth - and though they are not practised or passionate, they show a sweeter side to the blonde. a side he only reveals to izuku.
"kacchan, gross! my morning breath is so bad-" izuku often whines out in between kisses, making his lover snicker and continue his lazy and tender kisses. "shut up nerd, just let me kiss you," he slurs in a husky morning voice that makes izuku's insides flutter with excitement. his words vibrate against izuku's jaw or chin or wherever his lips are currently pressed against, as if he is hungrily trying to devour his lover each kiss at a time.
it's not uncommon for the blonde to be unusually clingy and affectionate whilst still half in dreamland. his crimson eyes are droopy, his spiky hair is sticking up in all different directions and he can't seem to keep his hands or his lips off of his boyfriend. izuku can't say he minds of course, a clingy kacchan is arguably the most adorable thing he has ever witnessed. it's such a stark contrast from the usual grumpiness and snappiness, that though he adores, isn't what he wants to deal with in the early mornings.
in between sips of coffee and bites of breakfast, katsuki is still intent on stealing kisses. sometimes the pair will get so carried away in each other that the coffee will go cold and they'll often be running late. it's worth it though, even when izuku has to down cold coffee in a panicked rush, his breakfast half-eaten and so tempting but kacchan is suddenly rushing round, telling him to "hurry the fuck up."
the slight grumbling in his stomach as he makes his way to work with a grumbling katsuki is worth it. besides, he adapts somewhat and starts to bring little granola bars along with him - some for katsuki too who is far more interested in devouring him for breakfast opposed to his food.
it's almost routine now, rushing out of their apartment after a tranquil morning that is shattered by his boyfriend - though that only makes him love kacchan more. he makes them late with those greedy kisses and tempting lips, then has the audacity to complain about izuku being the reason they're running late. it's so typical of him and the thought only makes him fall even deeper in love.
