"Rolex" Jimin demanded as he extended his wrist to the right watching Seul city from his loft, he had always loved how good it made him feel the city vibes. The watch is positioned in his wrist and he puts on his blazer to complete his suit. All of it black, making it simple but elegant. His eyes fixed on the window, emotionless. Serious. He was thinking about numbers, the money that he would make with this deal. His stylist was perfectoining the suit and his hair, applaying some cologne over it. "Enough" he said while he walked away from the window, inmidiatly his secretary walked in with a bunch of files, a coffee and a pack of chocolates, as he loved.
"Sir" He bowed to him, he had always been clumsy but a great company somehow. He knew him, knew his tastes, the way he likes his work done, his agenda filled and his demands fulfilled.
"Morning Secretary Min" He handed the coffee to him with a smile which he didn't return of course, because he did not like smiling, it was not in his system, so he gave a little nod.
"Agenda?"
"You have a meeting with Jing Joon at 10:00, lunch with Kim Namjoon head CEO of Warren Buffet and dinner with Kim Taehyung at 9" Jimin hummed as he walked to the elevator with a hand in his pocket, his phone in his hands and a pair of sunglasses. Jing Joon, he had to be convinced of taking his case to court and fight for the fraud he was 96% sure it was indeed committed, but Jimin didn't care about innoncence, he cared about winning. He had formed through the years his own lawyers buffet, he being the youngest chief to exist in whole Asia, from the begging Jimin had been determined, with a goal in his head, and he of course, had achieved it with perfection. Being the 4th richest person in Seul, owning the best lawyers firm in South Korea, and known to be the only one for winning 98% of the cases. He did not only represent CEOS, famous companies, but also international matters, being recognized each time for his flawless work. In his buffet there were only the best of the best lawyers, passing from Koreans, to Chinese, Italians, Americans and even a few Latinos searched for his firm to hire them, because if you entered the buffet, there was no possibility of failure. All of his workers succeed, and he made sure of it. Yeah, he was known for all of that, but he was also sure all of the people were afraid of him, because he was savage, not only at work but in personal stuff as well. He was not the one to fuck around with.
"POSCO right?"
"Right Sir, Jing Joon, he is the president of the company accused of fraud." While they were exiting the elevator he saw his phone searching for the documents, his hand extending asking for the file. Min Yoongi inmediatly handed it to him, he eyed it, looking at the numbers and accusations. While he sipped his coffee: late, with a cup of vanilla, one of sugar and cinnamon on the top. He looked at his secretary with an appreciation look at the coffee, he loved that he was always perfect when it came to work, so he had him by his side all the time except for meetings, with his body guard of course. Jungkook. He looked up while exiting the building and found Jungkook already waiting for him with a earphone in his right ear, perfect suit and a frown. He bowed when he saw him.
"Morning Sir"
"Jungkook." He eyed him and gave him a little nod. He was elegant as always and protective, making sure there was not any press around and keeping everything in order. He took the bag from Min Yoongi and kept moving to the car that was waiting for him. He walked with a hand in his pocket and ignored the bows that were directed to him, he was about to go inside the car when he noticed something different, the hand that was opening the door for him was unknown. He took a step back and stared at a nervous man, his sweaty forehead and eyes glued to the floor. He didn't like when his team was changed, he loved control and he hated nervous persons. He sighed and saw him bitting his lip nervously. His intense gaze looking down at him, as if he was nothing. In fact, he looked like that at everyone.
"Who is he?" he asked Jungkook with despise eyes. He saw how the stranger clearly swallowed and Jimin couldnt to anything but roll his eyes.
"Jung Hoseok nice to meet you Sir" he was interrupted as he saw the man bow, not coming up. He smirked emotionless, he loved how he made the other tremble.
"Minho quit on friday Sir" Oh, right. He remembered the other quit after Jimin yelled at him for turning way too hard on a curve. For being too shaky and tearing up every time he scolded him. How much time is Hoseok going to take before he cries? He looked up and down at the man, and he was handsome for sure, but his cheap suit and nervousness made him even more mad.
"Hoseok was it?" The other nodded. And kept his eyes on the floor, being intimidated. "If you are going to work for me I'd appreciate that you follow all and each of my orders, no exceptions. No skipping any shifts not even if you are about to die. What you hear inside the car is confidential, if you spill any information I'll make sure that you see no daylight again for being in prison. Are we clear?" He always started his workers with that talk, even to his colleagues. "And one mistake, you are fired" He could swear he saw him shaking, but it was normal, he caused that effect on everyone.
"Yes, Sir" He approached the other and took his blazer and examined it, it was cheap, not worthy. For Jimin, it was shit.
"Secretary Min" he saw how the blond approached him with question eyes. "I need you to do something for me"
"Anything Sir"
"While I'm on the meeting buy him another suit that isn't trash. My image can't be damaged by a shitty driver" Yoongi nodded and noted it in his cellphone. He loved the efficacy of his secretary, plus he never forgot anything, and it was the only that wasn't scared of him, no matter how many times he yelled at him, he was the closest to Jimin. Taking care of him the whole time. He shook his head and entered the car looking at his new driver with a hurt expression in his face, and God it bothered him. He saw Jungkook getting on his motorcycle and waited for the car to start and follow them.
Once inside the vehicle he scrolled over the planned documents and chewed a pice of his chocolate, being too early for eating sweets.
"You are going to get diabetes someday" He looked over Yoongi and pushed him a little on the arm, when they were on the car or in private he would address him non formally, as he said before, he was considered a friend. "Really, I don't know how you can eat that all the time"
"They are delicious, and they are healthy" He said with his mouth full of it.
"Sure they are" Yoongi said sarcastically and turned his attention to the agenda again, texting some of the workers to set some meetings and important dinners. While he turned his eyes to the window he looked at the passengers mirror and he saw how Hoseok was eying him by it. And he absolutely hated when someone stared at him.
"Eyes on the road, are you trying to kill us?" He said a little but too harsh. Hoseok took his eyes of him and whispered something that he couldn't quiet catch. "What was that? If you are going to speak do it loudly, I have not time to be guessing what you are saying"
"Im so-"
"You know what? you shouldn't even speak. Drive, and drive, open doors and bow, that's the only thing you are doing, got it?" He saw how the other freezed and Yoongi laughed a little. He took another bite of his chocolate and shook his head, there had only been like 15 minutes since he met his new driver and he was so ready to fire his ass out. They arrived to the big building and and took a deep breath, because it didn't matter how many times he had done this, there was always a little nervousness in the back of his mind. Remembering his mothers words do not show fear to the dog, or it will smell it otherwise. Jimin had always seen the other persons as dogs, so if he didn't show his fear there was no way the others could find his weakness. Once his door was opened he met Jungkook and Hoseok opening the door for him.
"Have a good meeting Sir" He looked over his shoulder to Hoseok. What the hell? what gave him the right to even speak to him. He would have yelled but he had no time for it. He gave him a despised gaze and turned to Yoongi.
"Can you train him or something?, If not I swear I'm firing him tomorrow."
"You fire everyone, I'm surprised that you haven't fired me already" Yoongi whispered as he followed him to the entrance of the building with Jungkook by his side.
"Funny Yoongi, just make sure he doesn't bother me anymore"
"Go easy on him please? I did research, it's like his first job"
"You know I don't go easy on anyone, and I don't like him." Jimin answered eyeing his driver tugging his shirt to make it even messier than it already was. "Just don't let him...I don't know speak, breath, blink, and for God sakes change his suit" Yoongi laughed and nodded.
"Yes Sir" He bowed as he returned to the car and he entered the building with Jungkook as he said to him he could go in now, making sure everything was safe. Jimin took sure steps with his hand in his pockets and he saw his team was waiting for him on the entrance, all of them bowing at his presence. He didn't say hi and kept walking to the entrance followed by everyone. When the elevator opened up the secretaries where waiting for him with bottles of water and smiles.
"Please enter to the door on the right, there is Mr. Joon's office." He nodded and made a sing for everybody to stop and wait for him there, he liked to walk to his meetings alone, just with his bodyguard. When he entered to the place there was a fancy man on his chair and he smiled while he presented himself. Jimin nodded and let Jungkook know where to stay, standing up against the door.
"Good Morning Mr.Joon, I'm Park Jimin, head of J & Partners Law Firm. What can I help you with?" He took a sit and crossed his legs, he always presented himself that way to his clients. Even though he already knew the case he thought necessary to hear all of them with their versions. Because in his mind, all of them lied, and if he was defending someone he needed the whole truth, so on his logic they were all guilty until proven innoncent.
"A pleasure Mr. Park, I would appreciate if we spoke in private?" he saw as he directed his gaze to Jungkook, who was looking like a robot, legs parted and hands intertwined rested on his lap. On duty.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about him Mr. Joon, he is my body guard and has to be with me at all times. You can speak freely, all of my workers are loyal and confidential" He saw how the other nodded and tugged as his suit nervously, guilty. With time, Jimin recognized the innocents and the guitly ones, just glancing once. And on this case he was indeed, guilty of all charges.
"I called-"
"Mr. Joon before you start, I have three conditions that you have to agree with before we start the work. 1. I will defend you as long as you tell me the whole truth without exception, and if I find out you are lying, and believe me I will I will no longer work to defend you. 2. I get paid for every second that I'm listening or talking to you. Since my firm is international we only accept dollars. 1,000 dollars an hour" he took his wallet out and handed a card with Min Yoongi's data on it "You arrange all economic matters with my secretary. and 3. I don't work out of the office nor accept any calls out of my working schedule, 8 to 7 pm weekdays and I don't work at all on weekends; if you agree to all of this matters, then I'm more than happy to get you out of the mess you are in right now" He saw how the man was sweating and looking nervous. He nodded and looked at his table.
"I need words Mr.Joon" He said leaning to the desk.
"I agree with all of them Mr. Park" He clapped his hands to the desk with strength with a big noise and he saw how Mr. Joon jumped at the noise.
"Perfect!" He yelled and took another chocolate out of his pocket along with his little notebook and Swarovski pen and stood up because he analyzed and thought better walking around. "Now, I'm all ears Mr.Joon"
"Holy fuck Jin you are are kidding me right now!" Hoseok yelled as he was entering the bathroom way too early for his taste. But it was his first day at work, he needed that job. He was working as driver of the most recognized lawyer in Seul, no other than Park Jimin, known as excellent lawyer and monster. He was nervous enough and he couldn't be late. Some how he had managed to put all of his classes on the night, he was a dancing major. But since they were struggling with rent they had to find some jobs. He had done everything, caffe shifts, barista, dog walker, and from all of them he had been fired. This was his only chance, how hard could it be, right? It was just driving.
"What?" he saw how his roommate mumbled and yawned.
"If you are going to have sex please clean your shit" He said looking at the used condom on the floor, and he felt dizzy ready to throw up. When he got no answer of the other he got a towel and picked it up with shut eyes and threw it away. "Jin I'm serious!" He closed the door with strength and started to shower, quickly, he was so nervous, he had done other jobs, but not as important as this one. And he owed to Jungkook, he had met him in one of his classes and saw him struggling. So he had offered him the job. At first he had doubted it, but it was his only option by now.
"Sup Hope" Said Jin as he went to pee.
"Jin, boundaries jeez" he said turning around so that he could cover his body, he had talked about the limits and boundaries shit countless times, and each time he was ignored. It had been a year now since he lived with the older, and even though it made him mad most of the time, he had also grew closer to him.
"You are staring today?" Jin asked.
"Yeah" He said as he closed the water and pulled a towel to his hips.
"Good luck with the monster, I herd he makes literally everyone cry" He rolled his eyes and sighed. He couldn't be that bad, maybe everyone was over reacting.
"God, Hyung that helps me a lot thanks" He yelled as he entered to his room. His suit prepared on the bed, it had took him all of his savings to buy one, because he only owned chill clothes, never elegant, he was hip hop and street dance student, bear with him. But he wanted to do really good on his new job, so he took all of his money of his bank account leaving it on zeros to look presentable and nice. Yeah, the suit was not a fancy one or shit, but it was the best he could afford. He tugged into the clothes, feeling weird in them because he had never been in one of them, only in his graduation of school. And he remembered he absolutely hated it, it made him uncomfortable. Still he tugged his shirt the best he could and stared at the mirror, this was going to be okay, and he was going to do just fine.
He took his keys, wallet and an apple in his mouth.
"Bye Hyung, see you tonight" he said as he walked out of the door. He started the car that was assigned to him, and it looked as if it costed more than his own soul. He tried to keep calm while he drove, he was good with directions so he could find the building easily. And he wondered how did it felt to be that rich? to live in a place like that? because his whole life was humble apartments and cheap clothes. He breathed in and out and checked his suit for the last time. Maybe his boss was nice, maybe everyone misunderstood him, he loved to believe the best in people. He went out of the car and saw Jungkook standing on the floor, he had seen him in dance clothes, and he felt instantly ashamed because the other looked so fancy and nice, he felt like he didn't belong there. But it was a job and a job only. He waved and Jungkook smiled.
"Hey Jungkook" he said with a big smile.
"Hoseok hyung! looking nice" Jungkook said and he felt better for the time being. "Nervous?"
"Nah, it's cool." He lied as he bit his lips, because he was terrified.
"Look Hope, don't be...surprised? The chief can be a little bit...hard?"
"Aish, I'm good, how bad can It be?" He said as he returned to his position to open the door as he saw two figures going out of the building before Jungkook could say something. He saw two elegant men, but this? was redicoulus. He saw the famous Park Jimin, and the camera did not make him justice. He was beyond perfect, and he had to take in his composture because he was breath taking, although he didn't glance, not even once at him. But it was like Hoseok couldn't take his eyes of him.
"Who is he?" He saw how Jimin was looking at him with dark eyes and judgmental gaze, he felt little and nervous just with his eyes on him. So he decided to start with the right foot, so his boss didn't hate him.
"Jung Hoseok nice to meet you Sir" He bowed as he tried to calm his heart, because it was racing the fuck out of him.
"Minho quit on friday Sir" Jungkook said.
"Hoseok was it?" Jimin asked an he felt a nod on his throat, he didn't know he would be this nervous when he met his boss.
"If you are going to work for me I'd appreciate that you follow all and each of my orders, no exceptions. No skipping any shifts not even if you are about to die. What you hear inside the car is confidential, if you spill any information I'll make sure that you see no daylight again for being in prison. Are we clear?" He was speechless, just...okay, yeah that was hard. "And one mistake, you are fired"
"Yes, Sir" that was the only thing he managed to say. He noticed how the other grabbed his blazer and looked at it like it was shit. And that was the first time Hoseok felt like pure trash.
"Secretary Min, I need you to do something for me"
"Anything Sir" answered the other elegant man.
"While I'm on the meeting buy him another suit that isn't trash. My image can't be damaged by a shitty driver" He stood there, speechless. He had spent all of his money in this suit, and right now he just wanted to burn it. So, maybe it was true. Park Jimin was a monster.
