Summary
Gasping, Luz asked, “Ooh, flowers! What do you need flowers for?”
Amity squirmed uncomfortably under Luz’s gaze. As she tries to stammer something out, Luz holds up her index finger to her lips. “Wait, let me guess. For your abomination classes? Or… is there some Boiling Isles special occasion nobody told me about?! Hmm. OHH, is there somebody you like?!”
Looking back at Amity, it seemed like the other girl’s head was on the verge of exploding. The shopkeeper suddenly spoke up, throwing a glance at the green haired girl. “Girl wanted something for love. Veryyy particular about it. Now I know why.”
Luz gasped. “Aww, so there is somebody! You should tell me who!” She cooed. Watching Amity simply gape, she quickly added, “Or actually, if you’re not comfortable sharing that, then don’t feel pressured to.” Luz’s smile shrunk at the thought. Sighing, she said, “Whoever this person is, they are one lucky witch.”

Alternatively: Luz encounters Amity at the market by happenstance. Turns out, the witch was there getting flowers for her crush! Luckily, Luz knows the perfect place to pick the right one.

Summary
Amity shortly returned to the couch with two bowls of sancocho, rice, and some slices of viscer-avacado. “Mi hermosa…” Luz sighed. “You have no idea how much I love you.”
“Not as much as I love you,” Amity said, as she placed the tray of food onto the coffee table. “My light.” She added, although with a hint of red on her cheeks.
Luz blew her a flurry of kisses, which did nothing to help with the witch’s blush. Rolling her eyes, she dropped next to Luz on the couch, before stealing a kiss from her. “Now eat.” She ordered, as Luz giggled.
Her girlfriend relented. "Por supuesto, mi amor."
Or: (figuratively) Literally just a spoonful of sugar.

Summary
As she stands hesitantly at the doorway, scrutinizing the girl, Amity suddenly notices three things.
First, the mystery girl’s ears are round. That’s not normal, she thinks.
Second, the palisman is cracked, the staff itself nearly being snapped in two.
Third, the book she’s carrying is The Good Witch Azura.
She stands there for a long moment, the other girl still on her knees letting out guttural sobs. Amity pinched the bridge of her nose, chiding herself for the impulsive and stupid decision she was about to make.
