Summary
The Danforth bloodline ended because of Titus’s recklessness. Because he allowed weakness to take root in him and failed to do what his father expected. There is no excuse for the lapse, for the guard he let slip. He should have been more careful—at least until the Coronation was complete. He should have killed Grace well before she had a chance to bargain for her life.
If only he could have another shot at it.
“Fortunately for you, your failure is also mine,” Le Bail says. “Yet I am not one who accepts defeat so easily. You will be given the chance to correct the outcome of the Game, and you will repeat it until the desired outcome is achieved.”
“Be warned,” Le Bail quickly adds. “What first appears a blessing may soon reveal itself to be a curse.”

Summary
Ryland Grace kept his joint pain a secret for more than a decade from almost everyone. But his jaw is out of place now, and he's hurtling towards a planet with twice the gravity he's used to, and trouble is on it's way.
“Rocky, you know I wear special clothes sometimes.”
“Yes, culture.”
“They’re not cultural. I have something wrong with my joints. So I hurt all of the time, and sometimes my joints pop out of place.”
Rocky’s full attention was on me, his hands even still for once. “When Grace wear special clothes, you hurt. You hurt today. But you no hurt for reason.”Book and film canon variable, leaning more to book canon but sharing both based on what I felt like. Spoilers for everything.

Summary
Tessa, Gale, and Astarion are thrown in jail. Gale is locked up in a cell on the other side of the wall. The three of them have nothing to do but wait for Minsc to come find them.
Astarion has some interesting ideas on how to pass the time. (By the hells. Sex, my dear.) He doesn't mind if Gale listens. But, if the wizard wants to use their little tadpole friends to watch, well, he'll have to beg.
“Don’t be coy now,” Astarion purred. “You two aren’t as discreet as you think. I’ve heard you talking about me.”
“What exactly have you heard?” Gale asked.
“Enough. Just know that I’m very interested,” Astarion said.Bookmarked by thethirddaughter
