Abby is twenty three; running Firefly Ranch in the wake of her father's death, juggling problems and people, and overall not having a great time. She agrees to hire some help to take some of the load off her shoulders, and finds more than she bargained for in the red haired, green eyed little spitfire that joins their ranks.
Ellie is twenty two; two months separated from her foster dad's death, down on her luck, and recently hired by the same girl she hated in high school. Not... that she knew it, at the time. Maybe it's a mistake, to follow in Joel's footsteps at Firefly Ranch - but she'd never really been one for good ideas.
A story about cowboys, loss, growing up too fast, and finding yourself along the way. Yeehaw.
