Summary
Max was met with her deep brown eyes, always full of curiosity and hope. That was the way Max saw them most of the time now, and she was forever grateful for that. Her hair, now long, tickled Max's arms gently. She smelled like a fresh flower field, which was slowly (quickly) becoming Max's favorite scent.
"Don't make that face. I can't tell if you're about to kiss me or throw up." Max laughs more than says to El.
She just keeps staring for a few more moments before responding. "Maybe I'll do both."
Or El gets drunk and kisses Max, so Max freaks out because she cheated on Lucas, who is very happy about this whole situation.

Summary
Shoveling a handful of chips into his mouth, Race sighed. Another Friday at home, getting lost in whatever bullshit reality show was on TV. The blond picked up his phone from his chest to see that he still didn’t have any notifications. He checked his ringer, which was still switched on, and he checked his Do Not Disturb settings, which were still turned off. He huffed and set his phone back down.
Needless to say, Race was bored.
