Luffy’s eyes are unfocused as he smiles at Sanji. Robin takes a measured sip of her coffee in the same amount of time it takes Luffy to bite clear through half of his sandwich.
Sanji swipes a few napkins off the table and sets about wiping crumbs from Luffy’s face. “I’m so sorry about him, Robin-chan.”
“It’s quite alright,” she says. And it is because there is something very sweet about the scene in front of her. Robin smiles. One out of seven lights click on.

“This is it, then?” said Sabo. Some part of him he couldn’t put down, still trying to bargain. The heart of an idealist, a dreamer, an idiot. Thinking he’d suffer it all and more, the nightmare, this cannon blast, if it meant his brother would be here to pull him out of the fire.
Ace looked at him like he could see straight through to his stupid hope.
“Still trying to get more out of this, huh? Greedy bastard.” There was laughter in his voice, like he was pleased by it, like he’d expected nothing less. “Here. Next one’s on me. You’ll like it, ’cause it actually happened for real.”
“Yeah?” His throat raw. “See you there, then.”
