Summary
A pause. “It’s not very cold out, is it?”
For some reason, Seokmin gets the impression that Mingyu is simply trying to talk to him to please someone else; to get out of trouble, would be the better way to put it; remembers that Minghao had thought to talk to Mingyu about his standoffish attitude toward Seokmin and almost immediately feels displeased. It bubbles, foreign and tasting of iron, in the back of his tongue.
“You know,” Seokmin starts quietly, more serious than he feels, “You don’t have to do this.”

Summary
Jihoon smiles lazily, like the cat who got the canary. “Not going to say please?”
Wonwoo hates her.
(She doesn’t. She wanted to hate Jihoon for leaving for a long time, but it proved too tiring. She yearns instead, now.)
“Please?” she asks, like a dog begging for a bone.

Summary
“Safe?” Wonwoo parrots bitterly, quiet. Chan’s eyes glimmer in the night of his room, gaze suddenly veiled by an emotion Wonwoo can’t quite decipher.
Regret, or surprise, maybe. He brings Chan’s palm to his mouth once more, kissing and suckling on the slightly swollen scent gland, drawing a gasp out of him.
He places a gentle kiss over the freshly pink bruise, and mumbles his question into the marred skin. “What’s safe about this, Jungchan?”
What starts out as some meaningless kissing in the name of science, turns into an amalgamation of feelings, desire and something dangerous Wonwoo is scared to put a name to.

Summary
Mingyu takes the antiseptic and, very lightly, applies it to Seokmin's skin. It doesn't hurt, and in fact it barely feels like anything at all. Mingyu touches him so gently. His eyebrows are furrowed, concentrating.
Seokmin watches him. An acute sting abruptly starts behind his eyes.
Seokmin knows he's worth receiving good things, a good relationship. The thing is, Seokmin just isn't used to having his wishes fulfilled like this. Not without some kind of intense effort.

Seokmin and Mingyu go on a third date. It's not that bad. Really!
