Jason has been forsaken by the Rakyat, by Citra, especially, who has marked him as another failure. Served like a lamb to slaughter to the very man he thought he would kill, Snow White has no choice but to adapt to a life out of his control. Vaas appears more than happy to take him on, stringing him along with promises of keeping his friends safe if he can follow his rules. They both find themselves rather powerless these days, the forces at work more or less serving against their self-interest. Hoyt remains a steady threat, one that Vaas wishes to exterminate with or without Jason's compliance.

Sam talks all the way to the car about Ellie, and how he is going to hang out with her at lunch the next day. “She’s going to bring her comic books!” he tells him, and Henry positively beams with the knowledge that Sam has made an actual, real, friend.
And, on the drive back to their apartment, Henry doesn’t think about how Joel’s strong tough, callous hand encapsulated his entirely, or how Joel’s brown eyes look exactly like Cary Grant’s in that one movie.
He doesn’t.

Summary
Nacho definitely remembered dying.
He remembered holding a gun to Bolsa’s head, knowing that even if he pulled the trigger, he would be gunned down in an instant.
He hadn’t wanted to give those assholes the satisfaction of shooting him. He did it himself.
He thought he might remember being dead. There was definitely a sense that time had passed. But… his death had been quick. There was no light at the end of a tunnel; his life hadn’t flashed before his eyes. He had pulled the trigger, and then he was gone. He hadn’t even had time to register the sound of the gunshot.
But when he finally managed to claw his way out of the dirt that covered him, he was alone. No Salamancas, no Fring and his goons, no Bolsa.
And there was a sense of… blackness, he supposed. Like when you wake up after sleeping; even when you can’t remember any dreams, your mind knows that time has passed.
It felt a little like that.
(Nacho wakes up in the desert more than four years after his death. With the Salamancas' iron grip on the drug trade gone, he meets Jesse Pinkman and Walter White.)
