Summary
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw his tall, broad-shouldered frame and the perpetual glorious chaos of his hair passing by the window. Something rose up between her ribs and expanded out into her chest, a flower whose seed had laid long dormant, planted under summer skies and watered by a smile that had once made her blood boil and then made it burn and—
Fear, or something that should have been fear, slid down like sweat on the back of her neck. It occurred to her then, though it should have occurred to her far sooner, that this—seeing him again—might be dangerous. That where it might be safe for her to think of him like other married women thought of Cary Grant or Clark Gable, having him in the same room as her might pitch her over lines she couldn’t cross.
-or it’s the 30s, James is a barrister, Lily is married, and the only thing that will distract them from their mutual longing is fixing Britain’s family law system.

Summary
When she had stepped off the train in Hogsmeade station, Lily Evans had promised herself one thing: don't be stupid.
She isn't quite sure where letting James Potter get under her skin falls on the spectrum of idiocy, but it's definitely up there.

Summary
31st October 1981: Peter gives up the Potter's location, and Voldemort goes to their house that night. But instead of killing James and Lily, he spares them. When they wake up, they're in St. Mungos and are told that the house has burned down with Voldemort and Harry inside of it. Peter Pettigrew was sent to Azkaban, and Harry Potter went down in history as the martyr that saved the world from Lord Voldemort.
Fourteen years later at Wool's Orphanage in London, Henry Edwards is counting down the days until summer term ends and he can go back to Hogwarts when he starts getting strange dreams of a long corridor and a locked door at the end. And when, in his dream, he hears the name that's taught to every wizard, he isn't sure what's happening, or why he's having these dreams, but he knows two things: Harry Potter isn't dead, and he needs to find him.Bookmarked by loopy12345

Summary
Lily Evans starts her final year at Hogwarts with a plan: keep her omega instincts buried under suppressants, uphold her title as Head Girl, and prove to everyone—especially herself—that she’s more than a muggleborn or an omega. But balancing the weight of expectations and the looming threat of war isn’t easy, especially when James Potter, her new co-Head, keeps insisting on playing hero.
But Lily doesn’t need a knight in shining armor, especially not one so quick to act on his alpha instincts. She’s fought too hard to be defined by anyone but herself. Yet as the year unfolds, the lines between rivalry, trust, and something deeper begin to blur. James is no longer the arrogant boy she once dismissed, and Lily starts to see glimpses of a man willing to fight beside her—not for her.
Spanning their last year at Hogwarts and the tumultuous years of the First Wizarding War, Hidden Instincts is a slow-burn story of resilience, love, and the quiet courage it takes to trust someone with your heart in a world on the brink of collapse.
