Yoongi had always hung the moon and the stars for Jungkook. He was Jungkook’s number one role model, the coolest guy he would ever know, and maybe one day when Jungkook grew up he might be like Yoongi. That's what Jungkook thought his whole life, but now he thinks he may have interpreted it a little incorrectly.
Jungkook doesn’t quite know what it all means. He doesn’t know if he wants to know what it means, but he knows one thing for sure - all of these feelings, the uncontainable happiness, the comfort of being in Yoongi’s presence, are all suspiciously similar to what all the stories say love is like.
Jungkook watches Yoongi tap his fingers on the steering wheel and listens to him sing along to an obscure song by The Killers and wonders could this be love?
or, the one where yoongi and jungkook have been best friends their entire lives and that means going through every stage of life together, side by side. it proves to be messy and difficult and sometimes painful, but jungkook wouldn't have it any other way.
