    He rummaged through it, looking for shirts he had worn that week, knowing his scent would probably calm his mate. He found a few and brought them over to the bed, tucking them strategically within the nest.

    He knew how much hybrids relied on scent during their heats, and well, humans shouldn't be much different right?
