Summary
A cloud chamber is a particle detector used for making invisible ionising radiation visible, by looking at how the particles leave trails across water vapour.
Chell eventually returns to Aperture after struggling to survive on the surface where she and GLaDOS reluctantly come to a deal where Chell gets to stay.
Over time, Chell begins to uncover more about Aperture’s past, bringing up repressed memories for the both of them.
