Summary
Despite what some might think, Ventus isn't stupid. He knows Aqua and Terra still coddle him, he knows he's not a good person, but most of all, he knows he needs his family. And he'd do just about anything to get them back.
TLDR: With Xehanort defeated and Ventus' memories restored, Ventus decides to find his family from Daybreak Town.

Summary
After returning from the Realm of Darkness, it's becoming very clear that Ventus probably shouldn't have gone there.
Not only is he struggling with his lost memories, his internal darkness, but also his past and his true identity, but now he's threatened by two of the Guardians' old enemies who now appear to have several unfathomably powerful Keyblade wielders under command.
Regardless, Ven's friends will do anything to keep him safe.-----------------
Finally, after being separated from decades - centuries, scattered all across space and time, the Union Leaders are back. Hearts restored, memories recovered, and Keyblades in hand, there's only one thing moving.
One leader who is still amnesiac, still missing his real Keyblade, and is still lost. And also happens to be stuck with the single most arrogant, block-headed key slingers the Union Leaders have ever seen.
Doesn't matter if they're the "good guys" here.
Nothing will keep Lauriam, Ephemer, Skuld, and Brain from getting back their friend(OR: Ventus is getting his memories back, and his old friends want their little brother back, but that puts them at odds with the Guardians of Light.)

Summary
In the midst of the Second Keyblade War, an unforeseen incident ends up separating one Guardian and one Seeker of Darkness from both their respective teams.
Now, mysteriously freed from Xehanort's possession, confused (plus his stupid memories deciding to act up at the most inconvenient time), Marluxia takes it upon himself to care for the injured young boy stranded with him and to return him to his friends, even if he doesn't understand what compels him now.
Ven doesn't have the faintest clue why this man suddenly switched from attempting to murder him to now being the only reason he's alive (or why he seems so familiar), but it's not like he has a choice right now. At least, despite how unimaginable it seems, this man doesn't appear to like Xehanort any more than he does.
Both stranded, both struggling with their memories, the unlikely trucies cautiously begin to bond as they make the most of their situation. But when the reality of the war they had momentarily escaped returns with a vengeance, will anything change from how it was foretold to end ages ago?Bookmarked by bassalmon
