A mission, like any other- right?
Set in the snowy forests of Russia, it was a simple recon mission- or that’s what Brimstone said.
Maybe you’d believe him, if your heart wasn’t pumping so fast.
The sky above you two is coated in snow that resembles an endless dance of stars- peppering your skin and leaving damp, cold spots.
Despite this, you’re warm.
Maybe it’s your scarf.
Maybe it’s the warm lining of your coat.
Or maybe..
It’s the tight grasp he has on your hand.
One he won’t let go.
