Summary
Far beneath the oldest roots of the Realm of Eternal Summer, where neither the sun nor the moon has ever shed its light, there is a labyrinth of winding passages and forgotten chambers filled with stories.
Before they became mages, dragon riders, friends, foes, or monsters, they were simply people trying to survive.
This is where their stories begin.
And stories like these; they always start out well, they always end in tragedy. This one is no different from the others. It follows the same journey, slowly but surely.
TL;DR: The members of the Flight SMP already have established lore. This story builds on that foundation, SO some characterizations may differ slightly from canon, though I'll do my best to stay true to them !!! This is a story that asks one simple question, who were they before they entered the academy, and what happened to shape the people they would become right now?
