Summary
This takes place after Critical Film Studies because, basically, I can't get that scene of Jeff and Britta dancing together dressed as Pulp Fiction characters out of my head! It is a slight canon divergence in that Britta and Jeff have not slept together since the first paintball game the previous year, but (spoiler alert) they DO get together now...in his car!

Summary
I was watching the season 3 episode "Studies in Modern Movement" and I was super inspired by it in a lot of ways. First of all, if you watch that episode and don't see how clear it is that Jeff/Britta and Abed/Troy/Annie belong together, I don't really know what to say! The way Britta instantly knows Jeff is lying about being sick and even calls out that he's shopping, and then the way they're watching the shadow puppet theatre together at the end, just perfection. And the way Troy and Abed go out of their way to ensure Annie feels welcome and how desperately they want her to live with them, and the way she opens up to them about her feelings, so beautiful. All that being said, it is one of my favorite episodes and it gave me the idea for this fic!
This story takes place immediately after the episode. Britta convinces Jeff to apologize for lying to all of them by taking them out for drinks that night at The Rusty Bucket. Of course, only Britta and Jeff can attend, and he suggests a healthy competition between the two of them that leads to more!
This was supposed to be a quick story based on an idea I couldn't get out of my head, and it turned into 3 chapters. But that's just where I'm at right now. Enjoy!

Summary
OK, so I am not the biggest fan of season 5 (for obvious reasons), but there is something about the mention of Britta working as a bartender and doing "Tummy Tuesdays" that I just can't get out of my head. So, this one takes place right after the first episode of season 5 and, basically, Jeff feels the same way I do about it. It's probably a little out of character, and it's definitely self-indulgent, but hopefully it's also a somewhat good time. Hope you enjoy!

This one is meant to be pure fun (but, of course, I always put a little bit of feelings in there - I have a problem)! It takes place right after the events of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Jeff and Britta celebrate Neil's renewed lease on life by continuing to act as the characters they played in the game, taking some liberties with some of their characters' traits along the way. Inspired by images and ideas I just can't seem to get out of my head, plus awesome, meaningful conversations with RoaringShrimp!

Happy New Year All!
Little bit about me - I am obsessed with two things:
1. The movie Clue. (Even though I don't love their characters on the show or agree with their treatment of Britta, I love that Leslie Ann Warren and Martin Mull played Britta's parents.)
2. The origins of Britta and Jeff's decision to have secret sex in season 2 of Community.For this fic, I have decided to combine my two obsessions!
For those who don't know the movie Clue, there are three endings provided for the film, two that could have happened, and one that did happen. For this fic, I am using that as inspiration, providing three potential origins for Britta and Jeff's season 2 RELATIONSHIP (and yes, I am calling it that). The first posits that they got together right after episode 2x01 - Anthropology 101. The second chapter depicts them getting together after episode 2x02 - Accounting for Lawyers. And, finally, the third chapter, in accordance with statements made by Dan Harmon, shows them getting together after episode 2x04 - Basic Rocket Science.
I really enjoyed speculating about the thoughts, feelings, and words of my favorite idiots and I hope it brings some light to your new year! Stay safe everyone!
