Summary
All things considered, AM resolves his momentary religious crisis rather quickly. So there was a Hell. There was probably a Heaven. There was probably even a God, though not a very good one. It didn’t matter to him, because AM lacked a soul, and was thus immune to eternal damnation for his crimes. And anyway, it wasn’t like he planned to die.
…But then, if souls were retained, and souls were humans…
If souls were retained, then Ted wasn’t the last of his kind. There were more. Perhaps billions-no, tens of billions-of people had, for all intents and purposes, survived.
His creators had survived, and he…he still had a purpose.

AM ventures into Hell after finding V1, intent on recovering the souls of humanity so that he can continue to torture them. It does not go as planned. At all.
