    Silas is a scientist--a xenobiologist--finally given the chance to help lead a survey on a new world beyond humanity's normal range. With the Collective's permission they have reached what they call Planet D-29768, but there's a catch: the Yautja control this world, and their brief truce is conditional. Silas has no desire to stir up trouble, but there are forces at play behind the scenes that may not have such good intentions.
