"I bet you have an abnormal sized dick," Mian Mian slurs out, red cup in her hand, recently refilled with some poorly mixed drink.
Nie Huaisang just about chokes on the wine cooler he just took a sip from.
"W-what!?" He chuckles nervously.
"Your dick. Its probably massive," she explains.
"Oh God, why are we talking about dicks," Wen Qing groans. Mian Mian elbows her in the side gently.
"Where did that come from?" Nie Huaisang squawks.
"Well, your personality. It's so light and not over-emasculating. And you have no care about looking or acting too fem. You probably have a huge dick," she explains and takes a large gulp of her beverage.
Jiang Cheng can't help but glance down at Nie Huaisang's trousers. He then blushes and averts his eyes from the group.
"Gah! Why can't I hang out with normal people?!" Jiang Cheng grumbles.

Summary
Nie Mingjue continues to vanish at all times of the day for the next two weeks and while Jiang Cheng is not worried because he trusts Nie Mingjue he can’t deny that he’s burning with curiosity. Jiang Cheng still has no clue where Nie Mingjue vanishes to or what he does when he’s gone, but he comes back increasingly upset and Jiang Cheng just wishes he’d let him help.
That is, until he receives a gift.

“It’s not that easy,” he finally gets out. “I’m not sure I can—” he cuts himself off, because he doesn’t actually want to admit that he feels like he can’t trust anyone at the moment.
“It’s just me, Wanyin,” Nie Mingjue reminds him and Jiang Cheng closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath.
“Are you going to break my heart, Mingjue?” he whispers out and at least Nie Mingjue’s answer is immediate, if not exactly what Jiang Cheng wanted to hear.
“I hope to the heavens I won’t,” he tells him and Jiang Cheng thinks it might have to be enough for now.
“If you do, I’ll kill you,” he snaps but he moves closer to the bed, close enough to take Nie Mingjue’s hand in his.

Summary
The xun continues to call out to Nie Mingjue and the sound is just as hauntingly sad as it is achingly beautiful and Nie Mingjue’s feet carry him off almost without his conscious thought.
He doesn’t have the best memory of the piers at Lotus Pier but he’s decently sure that the sound leads him towards Jiang Wanyin’s private ones. It makes Nie Mingjue hesitate for a moment, but he ventures on, promising himself that he won’t be seen so it won’t matter.
Nie Mingjue realizes his mistake when he turns around a corner and finds Jiang Wanyin standing at the end of a dock, dressed down to his sleeping robes as well, his hair spilling freely over his back and the xun raised to his lips.
