Meanwhile, Meria and Warren are stuck in an awkward orbit, Juliet finally breaks up with Zachary and and Principal Wells gets to play the lead role in the bitter reminder that no matter how far she runs, her parents will always find a way to ruin her week.
Surely she can count on Hayden's house party to relax. Right?

Summary
Week Three begins with a goodbye Meria didn’t want to give and before she can even catch her breath, a moment of humiliation spirals into fury making her nearly lose control in front of the whole school.
Trying to outrun her feelings she welcomes the creative retreat announced by Mr. Jefferson, hoping distance might settle her nerves; but Arcadia Bay has a way of turning escape into confrontation.
The retreat only tightens the knots she came with, layering stress over exhaustion, fear over frustration, and a creeping sense that something around her is slipping out of control.Three days later, Meria returns to Blackwell with more questions than answers, memories that feel warped at the edges, and the unsettling feeling that the worst part of the week is the part she can’t remember.

Meria James likes to think she is a decent person; that’s what she tells herself anyway ever since she left London for Arcadia Bay, leaving her 15 years old brother with her furious parents. You see, they had paved her way in life from private schools to King's college, and fortunately for every future English criminals, she dropped the second her grand parents offered her to pay for her senior year at Blackwell.
It wasn’t easy at first, trading uptown clubs for junkyard parties, but she managed to make some friends like Dana Justin, or Warren and good old-fashioned nemesis like Victoria and her spawns.
This week she was going to her first ever Vortex Club party, and she couldn't help but get a little excited at the idea of drinking and dancing after incarnating a none for the last 3 months. If only things weren't about to turn weird and completely messed up.
