I've shifted time forwards to modern day because a couple of things that are gonna happen in this fic can't realy happen in the 1800s lmao (slytherin raves in the common room etc)
You were born into a well off wizarding family who have always believed in home education being the best education rather than "simply running around a large castle" as your father would say, you never knew your parents well at all both of them were aurors in the ministry of magic and they barely had time to be around for you, by what would have been your fifth year they both died in a battle against goblins at the start of the rebellion although the ministry did not want to disclose this.
When they died you were placed in the care of your grandfather Eleazar fig, with him being a hogwarts professor he had to enroll you at hogwarts because he couldent leave you for months on end by yourself so he tried to give you best education he possibly could and helped you prepare for what was to come.
