Summary
Sybil Donnely was born the first daughter of the Donnely family in Victorian England. She was expected to complete finishing school, and when she finally came of age she was to marry and take part in her husband's interests and business. Until her magic manifested on her fifteenth birthday and her old life was charred to ash. Sybil finds herself suddenly thrust into the far more progressive wizarding world where women could wear pants and have jobs. Even more shocking, she discovers she has a rare ability to see and wield ancient magic. With that she becomes the target of known dark wizards and hoards of goblins bent on destroying all of wizardkind. Sybil must learn to navigate this new world while breaking free from the chains which have held her for her entire life.
This is going to mostly be a story about adventure and exploration of the magical world through the eyes of varying characters. This story will have some potentially triggering themes including child abuse, gore, torture, dealing with trauma, and death. This story will also include a very VERY slow burn enemies to lovers romance between Sybil and Ominis. Note, this story is set in Victorian times, therefore mindset will be a bit backwards.

Summary
Rook is a Quinari, a mage, and a failure of an Antivan Crow. She can't deal with any of these personal matters as she's thrust into a war she never asked for, forced to face off against two elven gods as a third takes up residence in her dreams. She's never been in charge of anything before, never been trusted with this much power and responsibility. She can't let Varric or Viago down, she needs to finish what she started so she can return to the crows with honor and dignity. She can't afford to let the Demon of Vyrantium distract her.
This is a shared POV story of Crow Rook X Lucanis X Spite. I may have a chapter or two from Viago's perspective. I plan on fixing some of the plotholes in Veilguard, along with giving a bit more life to the Rook X Lucanis X Spite romance by re-adding in those cut scenes. This fic will be somewhat canon divergent, and will deal with heavy subject matter. Thanks for reading!
