Summary
Late one night, V gets a call from one of her favorite fixers, Wakako Okada. The gig seems simple enough. Protect and serve as bodyguard to Japan’s most famous artist, the enigmatic young woman, Himari Ishi. She's in Night City for a month-long retrospective of her work.
Himari lives in the spotlight. VIP parties, rooftop penthouses, underground, risque clubs. Her name fills the back pages of tabloids and screamsheets alike, yet she seems to move through it all effortlessly, drawn to the dark, seductive allure of Night City and everything it offers.
But there are things that never make the back pages.
She’s been in NC before. And this time, she’s looking for someone. Judy Alvarez. The brilliant, sexy techie.
A year ago, the two women met and shared something brief and incredibly intense.
V notices.
She’s there to watch and to anticipate trouble. But the longer she stays, the harder it becomes to ignore the tension. Himari is exotic and mysterious. Judy is something else entirely. Sensitive, real, and far more difficult to walk away from.

Summary
The year is 2082.
Nearly five years after the events of Dogtown, the country is still fractured and broken. Corps own the meager scraps, the streets are colder than ever, and happiness is a luxury few can afford.
V returns to Atlanta and lives alone in a tiny bungalow on the outskirts of the city, working the graveyard shift at a popular diner, and still trying to outrun the ghosts of Night City. Judy Alvarez is newly divorced from Bianca and living alone in Pittsburgh. She spends her days fine-tuning BD's at a small tech startup, and her nights wondering if she’s about to make the same mistake twice.
Both are in new, exciting relationships. Both are trying to forget the past and move forward.
But neither can shake the memory of those beautiful six months in 2077, when everything was raw, electric, and heartbreakingly real. When they felt the pure rush of falling in love.
This is kind of a slow-burn story. It's about coming to terms with the past, the heavy price of regret, and a hope for better days....
And for Valerie & Judy, one question remains:
When the world changes and you change with it, what happens to the love you leave behind?

Summary
A number of years have passed since V called Judy from the hospital and her whole world was forever changed. She’s moved out of Night City, and lives on the other side of the world, as far away from the source of her sorrow as she possibly can.
After their love affair came to a painful, tragic end, V never married, had a family, or was in a serious relationship. She's just had a hard time healing from the rejection suffered at the hands of her one and only true love.
She works in the foreign offices of the NUSA’s Counter Intelligence Division and lives in a modest studio apartment on the outskirts of the city. She's single, sorta happy, but terrified of opening her heart back up.
One day, she gets an email inviting her to a farewell celebration being held at Lizzie’s Bar, thousands of miles away. The club is closing its doors for good and the Mox are throwing one final bash to commemorate the bittersweet occasion….
Immediately, V's thoughts return to Jude. Will she be there? Alone? With Bianca?
It’s been a long, long time since they’ve seen one another face to face….
Valerie makes up her mind to attend. She’s nervous, scared, but a tiny part of her still longs to see Judy one more time….

Summary
This series is for anyone who might enjoy reading about V and Judy, but not always from the standpoint where everything works out. These one-shots are going to be much darker than the stuff I usually write. V tries and tries to get Judy back, but it just doesn't happen?
(ed. note): This series is written under my pseud (Cinnamon Suger) to help differentiate between the other current story I'm writing. Although my hope is that everyone who reads this series enjoys it, I realize it's probably not going to be everyone's cup of tea.... (But I still hope it is!)
