Francesca's breath came in short, sharp gasps. The jealousy was still there, burning through her veins, but beneath it was desire.
"You shall bathe Michaela."
Michaela blinked, obviously surprised. "What?"
"Wash away every trace of her. I cannot. No, I will not bear the presence of another upon your skin."
Michaela stood in the center of the room and Francesca's hands moved before her mind could catch up, reaching for the fastenings at Michaela's back. She unfastened them one by one, her knuckles brushing against Michaela's skin through the fabric, and then she pushed the dress away from her shoulders. The pink fabric fell, pooling at Michaela's feet. Francesca's breath stopped. If heaven is real Francesca was sure it would look something like this.
