Summary
“Paris,” Norma repeated. “And will I be working with a partner?”
“That’s right. We’ve assigned you one of the junior agents.” The corner of Hollis' mouth ticked up in what Norma, were she prone to exaggeration, might almost have called a smirk. “I dare say you’re familiar with him.”Newly-minted Field Agent Natividad and Junior Agent Aquato are given a mission: to investigate a group operating in Paris, and track down one of its members, an ex-Psychonaut gone rogue. But there’s no such thing as a by-the-books mission in the Psychonauts, and as they find themselves embroiled in a dangerous plot, the two unlikely partners will need to work together to make it through.

Summary
Someday, you will find me.
One spring evening, a grisly murder took place in the halls of Cherryton Academy, and that tragedy began a series of disasters that nearly brought the whole city to its knees. Now, two years later, Riz the brown bear is paroled early from juvenile hall. He emerges into a society that has less patience for him than ever, muzzled and still haunted by his crimes, and tries to rebuild a life for himself.
Meanwhile, the newly re-integrated Cherryton Drama Club works tirelessly on its long delayed production of Adler, and Pina hears the news of Riz's release. Despite warnings and misgivings from friends and family alike, he continues to pursue his relationship with the bear, though both of them remain in denial of just how deeply their attraction runs, and Riz's fangs itch beneath the muzzle's restraints. Herbivore and carnivore, predator and prey, love and appetite - all of them clash one final time, as the eve of Cherryton's grand performance draws ever closer.
Adler takes the stage. Will the tragedy be repeated?

Summary
"Death is not permitted here."
The Radiance perishes and Hallownest falls silent. The infection of light spares few in its wake, turning the kingdom into a tomb filled with the bodies of the formerly afflicted. After some time spent recovering in Dirtmouth, Hornet chooses to depart the only home she's ever known. She descends one final time in search of survivors who may also wish to leave, thinking nothing of her sacrificed siblings, though she carries a pair of mismatched horns underneath her cloak.
But something else stirs beneath her feet, ancient and full of grief, and Hornet's task proves far more treacherous than she had believed, her path littered with old gods and new threats. As she delves into the darkest reaches of Hallownest, haunted with visions of the life spent there, the orphaned princess learns that she must reckon with all she has lost, before the kingdom and its secrets destroy whatever she has left.

Summary
“It's funny because we're all living in a simulation and free will is a lie.” -Marina Ida, Chicken VS Egg Splatfest
There are many ways to interpret this statement: a philosophical statement before a philosophical splatfest. A freakish science fiction theory. A blatant fourth-wall break.
Or a factual statement from a girl who's half-convinced she's wearing her hypno goggles and hallucinating. Just to let them know she knows none of this is real. And sooner or later, she's going to wake up and repair another Octobot.
From the start of Splatoon through the Octo Expansion, the moments that made Marina... and the moments that broke her.
An awesome person linked fanart in the comments of the final chapter, if you wanna go look.
Despite appearances, this series isn't a drabble collection. These are sink-in-your-teeth, sob, cheer, what do you mean that was foreshadowing, how dare you, coherent and fully plotted fics. Several have comments stating their entire reaction to a chapter changed after reading a different snapshot. These things have more fans than I can fully comprehend. Read at your own risk. Not quite canon-compliant with Splatoon 3. Series can be read in any order.

Summary
Ring the bell. It's time to eat.
The Day of Depravity goes badly. The crime lord Melon's tenure as leader of the Shishigumi ends as he chokes on his own blood, and the lions douse their torch and leave in disgrace. But the black market's troubles don't end there. Over the following weeks, a series of bombings culminates in a massacre that leaves the market's four crime families in disarray. All evidence points to the Butchers, the enigmatic courier network behind the city's meat trade. But why would they attack the same animals they've quietly fed over the years? And what will the Four Families do if the market goes hungry?
Legosi is still living in the Hidden Condo, making his deliveries and hoping that the stain on his record will wash away. But when Louis calls to warn him away from the black market, the wolf unwittingly drags them both into the chaos brewing within the district. The Butchers sharpen their knives, the city trembles, and Legosi and Louis must take a stand against the violence erupting from their society's underworld, before it devours them and everything they cherish.
Spoilers up to Chapter 157.
