Summary
Being transferred from New York, Vanessa Rhodes finds herself back in her hometown of Chicago. Having been a firefighter back in New York, the woman tries to find a job somewhere in Chicago. By a stroke of luck, she finds a firehouse run by an old friend of her mother's and manages to get a job.
Apart from the daily struggle of being a firefighter, Vanessa has to deal with being back in the city she was raise in with not only having to move states, but with family and relationship problems. Will she be able to survive in Chicago> Or will she end up returning to New York?
