Summary
After sharing their first kiss and officially getting together, Rinne and Niki find themselves sharing a bed for the first time in years. As a common occurrence, Niki’s sleep is interrupted by hunger pains and he goes to make a snack. Rinne, now noticing the absence of his warmth, wakes to check that everything’s ok.
It is, and they are sickeningly cute, sharing their second kiss.

How many nights had Niki cooked them dinner with Rinne’s arms wrapped around his waist? How much longer could they keep this up, pretending to know what the other was thinking and avoiding true happiness? It was about time something changed and Rinne was feeling like taking the biggest gamble of his life.
(In which Rinne finally works up the courage to ask Niki what the Hell is going on between them and they share their first kiss. Kind of my chance to analyse their relationship and them as characters tbh)
