  Summary

  An AU series slightly to the left of canon HLVRAI in which the experimental build of Half-Life was part of an unfinished Anniversary re-release of Half-Life and its expansions called “Half-Life Collector Edition.”
  The Player from HLVRAI does not abandon the game for several years but instead creates a “Post Game” of sorts for his AI to live in…and THEN abandons it, leaving behind a Gordon Freeman whose personality and memories were molded by the actions of his Player and has deeply concerning abandonment issues.
  Meanwhile, other players shape their own experiences with HLCE and the AI that it creates for them with varying degrees of insanity.
