Summary
Jacob's conditioning taught the Deputy three things: survival, resilience, and to have a backup plan when fighting an enemy stronger than you. That backup plan was keeping John alive as a bargaining chip. She survives the "Only You" ordeal after her final confrontation with Joseph and is determined to go through with it. But Joseph isn't happy about John's failure to let her Atone and closes Eden's gates to his brother. John sets out on a plan for revenge, and both he and the Deputy realize the easiest way to stop Joseph is to work together.

Summary
AU - Sheriff Earl Whitehorse wants to retire next year, so he needs to find another Deputy so he can promote Hudson. Rookie Deputy Ronnie Maxwell sounds good to Ronnie, and so does Hope County, with it's small town feel and peaceful atmosphere. Here she can heal and grow and maybe finally settle down.
The Seed family moved in about a year ago, and Joseph opened up a coffee shop called "Eden's Gate", and he's just happy to be there, with his family, while they all work on their issues. But John is still tormented by his sins, still carrying the emotional scarring from his childhood, and Jacob is still struggling with his PTSD, and Faith is still struggling with her addiction, even if she's clean today.

Summary
There's a saying in the wasteland, so old MacCready doesn't even rightly remember when he first heard it. There's only two kinds of people in this world, the saying goes, the quick and the dead. And MacCready's not dead, so he must be quick: quick enough to run, quick enough to shoot, and quick enough to know a good deal when he sees it. The boss, though, the boss is something else. The kind to thrive, maybe. The kind who kicks free of all of the filth and muck and rises to the top; the kind who'll drag all of her people up with her, even if it means she has to kill every last sonofabitch in her way.
And maybe Mac didn't really know what he was getting himself into, when he let some woman with a smile and a shotgun talk him into taking a contract. But damned if he can say he ever regrets coming along for the ride.

Summary
