Summary
In the depths of the ocean, an unresolvable enmity has reigned for centuries. Merfolk were beings, so it was said, that the Light itself had created to protect the sea and all its creatures. Beings so full of tenderness and innocence that they made everything in their presence shine.
But Darkness, true to its nature, also created a being from the shadows-one even more beautiful and magnificent than the merfolk. With a song so alluring and sweet that hardly anyone could convince themselves to resist it. A trap designed to kill and destroy.
Sirens were cruel creatures; at least, that is what Kija, the Prince of the Merfolk, had believed for a long time.
