Summary
Jisung lingers in the kitchen while the guys chat around the dinner table, just on the other side of the counter. He feels awkward, but he doesn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable with it, so he keeps his mouth shut. He washes the spoons and puts everything back in its place while they talk about how the road’s been, how’s life. He listens in, but Minho doesn’t say much. He probably doesn’t want to speak in front of Jisung, who’s not privy to be a part of his life anymore. Not allowed to know him at all.
Of course, he can’t blame Minho for not wanting to talk to him beyond simple cordiality. If Jisung was in his shoes, he wouldn’t want to talk to himself, either.
(Two years ago, Minho and Jisung broke up. Now, they’re both in attendance for Changbin’s bachelor’s party, and old wounds get re-opened.)
