Summary
A mysterious metropolis hidden amidst shifting sands, Morfis — the so-called ‘City of Illusion’ — is a magical playground unlike any other, attracting scholars and thrill-seekers alike. Amongst a hopeful backdrop of infinite possibility, Hapi hopes to find answers to her most burning questions. Namely how to break the curse that’s haunted her for years.
But where there’s reality-warping magic lies sinister force — and if Hapi wants to learn to control her own unwieldy power, she’ll have to walk the fine line between the two. Of all the new challenges she must face, none are more baffling than Sylvain: a Fódlan expat who’s extraordinary on multiple accounts. The most notable being his fiery hair, the pair of wings he flies around the city on, and a curious talent for both magic and getting on Hapi’s nerves.

Summary
On the southern shore of Morfis lies the island of Fobet. In the centre of the island is a magnificent mountain called Kanto Mountain. Each year, children between the ages of ten to thirteen can embark upon a coming-of-age journey towards the peak of the mountain. Along the way, they will collect Pokémons and train them, readying them for the ultimate battle against a formidable foe at the summit of Kanto Mountain.
This year, twelve-year-old Linhardt Chloros and Caspar Sideris embark upon their journey to the heart of Fobet, where they must confront their greatest opponent and become the Champions of Fobet. But such a destiny was not meant to be. Linhardt and Caspar find friends, betrayal, and the fulfillment of an ancient legend along the way to meet a fate greater than becoming the best Pokémon trainer in all of Fobet.
