“Can’t you take a break or somethin’? Don’t you ever relax?” Victor asked, and the way he began gently kneading Seven’s shoulder did not go unnoticed.
“I can do whatever I want. I simply don't need to ‘take a break’ as you say,” Seven retorted. Victor's one handed massage picked up intensity just barely, burning in a way that Seven relished in.

Summary
“There,” Seven finally stated, leaning back onto his heels, his hands sliding down to Victor’s thighs.
“Thanks,” Victor said, peeking down at Seven through his fingers, watching as the other man shifted away, going back to digging in the box. As Seven dug for something, Victor leaned forward slightly, looking down at the newly cauterized wounds. There were spiderwebbed cracks spreading from the scar, and similar to the now fading lightning crackles on his arms, he thought it was beautiful.
“Must be nice having a scar you can identify,” Seven said as he stood, moving to sit next to Victor facing him, one leg tucked beneath him.
“Yeah, I’ll cherish it,” Victor replied.

“Yes. Brilliant observation there. Should we call the NYPD? See if they have any openings?” Seven asked, crossing his arms. Victor leaned up a bit, resting his elbows on the floor so he could look at Seven.
“Maybe. You think I’d make a good detective? You like a uniform?” Victor quipped, head tilting just slightly.
“Please, an NYPD uniform is probably the least sexy thing you could wear,” Seven said, idly flipping the newspaper open where it sat next to him, skimming through headlines. The conversation lulled for a moment, Seven doing his best to ignore the stare that Victor was levelling at him.
