"The perpetual fog rising from Dathomir’s swamps surrounded the barely elevated mound as if to reclaim the lost ground. Deep survey trenches cut into the soil where a small settlement had been just a few days prior, with its now enslaved population forced to dig day and night. They had proven extraordinarily susceptible to the domineering touch of the Dark Side, their empty eyes blinking mindlessly at their destroyed home as they slowly worked their faltering bodies to death."
Darth Notos practices archaeology entirely for his own gain. Driven by a desire to uncover the practices of the old Sith forgotten by history, far beyond simple holocrons and force ghosts, he finds himself drawn to sites corrupted by the Dark Side. Willing to inflict boundless pain and suffering to achieve his goals, his inclination for Sith magic and alchemy dictates much of his unorthodox methods. Far from prying eyes, his search for ancient knowledge first leads him to Dathomir, where he and his apprentice prepare a ritual in secrecy.
