Summary
Doing EVAs is thirsty work. Who knew that, even in zero gravity, moving around so much is pretty demanding? Of course, I've gotten way better at it. Even Rocky agrees, though mainly when we put it in contrast with my piloting. Naturally, if I put my work up against his engineering skills, I still come short and he, just as much as I, wishes I had a few more hands, I guess.

I yawn, waking up. This is the 5th night or so I've spent sleeping in the tunnel, with Rocky watching me. I've watched him sleep just once in that time. He's learned more about human sleep than I about Eridian sleep, to be sure.

Summary
This is the second time in half an hour I threw up. Mercifully, into the toilet this time, that the ship pops out for me on command, instead of down my own shirt or onto the floor where I'll just have to mop it up myself, anyway. We have slight acceleration toward Erid and, therefor, gravity—so the latter is definitely the lesser of the two evils.

It's hard to make sense of the dream that settles in front of my eyes this night. I try to, but when I suddenly jolt upright in my bunk, the walls of the Hail Mary around me, it all falls away. I touch my chest and feel my heart racing, and take a few quick breaths. I shake, like I have the chills, but feel neither cold nor hot. There's loud thumping in my ears.

Summary
Grace has told me it doesn't rue flooding its ship with my atmosphere and hurting itself to save me. It has said that it doesn't regret turning back to Tau Ceti to rescue me a second time. Grace says it doesn't bemoan abandoning its journey home, back to Earth, for my sake. So many times, and at least as often as I have tried to tell it how I feel. After all, I had failed in so many parts of my mission even before it came. Granted they don't outweigh returning to Erid with the remedy for our dimming star, and I am as surely elated in anticipation as I will be in fact once we land, in the Taumoeba to save Eridani.

The computer slowly turns up the lights in the dormitory when it detects my movement. Every morning it's like I get a little sunrise, even though I'm so far away from the sun or any star, really, that would give me this experience of building light. And warmth. Usually I wake up on what I think of as a pretty average morning in the spring, because the temperature in the Hail Mary stays at 22°C, always.
