Summary
Pip has an incredibly boring day, and Damien comes home sweaty from the gym.
OR
"Pip sighed, turning onto his stomach, his cheek squishing against his arm as his other one hung off of the side of the couch. Damien had a day off too, it’s a holiday, but he decided to use that time to go to the gym. This meant that Pip was left to his own devices for the time being, getting gradually more restless.
The TV had nothing of interest on it, and any attempts to find a channel Pip liked were futile. None of the books Pip owned seemed to pull him in either, and he wasn’t hungry enough to eat or tired enough to sleep, so he had settled with sitting on the couch, and thinking to himself about life.
Eventually, he heard the barely audible click! Of the lock, followed by a creak of the door, and he hurried to sit up.
