  Summary

  Little Cato the Vantrexian is content. Sort of. Life in the Hive is safe; he loves his father; he has enough to eat. And Pantala-the Vantrexian's continent for centuries-has been at peace as long as he can remember--Vantexians and Humans living in harmony, and because they stay vigilant, no one has seen a dangerous "Ancient Vantrexian" in years. But after Little Cato' four-day-sleep, he suddenly realizes he has a gift that not many Vantrexians have. The Humans don't like it and go after him, and Little Cato realizes Pantala isn't as peaceful as it seems, and he isn't safe. Whether he's ready or not, it's time to adapt--and fight for his life.
