Summary
Sherlock slowly lifts himself up and Liam immediately misses the physical warmth his husband radiated. Before he can complain, Sherlock guides Liam into a sitting position and pulls him into his lap. Liam instinctively wraps his arms around his husband’s waist and leans his forehead against his shoulder. Sherlock silently kisses the top of his head and rubs soothing circles on his back. “You’re going to be okay. I’m right here, baby.”
Liam thought that he would see the last of a heart episode after Louis underwent a successful surgery. But he's awakened at the dead of night by a sob from his daughter that mirrors his own and is greeted by his son slowly dying because of his heart.

Summary
Sherlock’s heart swells and squeezes as well. He’s never seen Liam be soft so naturally until they adopted the twins. It brought a nice change of pace to their lives and definitely changed Liam for the better. He’s slowly healing, the blood that once coated his hands now being washed by the two souls next to him.
Liam Moriarty-Holmes reflects on his current life and the family of four he's now a part of. He decides that the domestic life suits him.
