    In a hypothetical future, I wonder if Asriel would want to show these letters to Dess for closure or if it’d just reopen old wounds

    I mean we know from future chapters that Dess fully recognizes Asriel’s continuous devotion/love for her, but part of me thinks it’d make for a touching moment if Azzy showed her these glimpses into his tumultuous mind, despite very well knowing that they’d both be emotional wrecks at some point during the process

    Edit: It would appear that my answer lies within Chapter 4 :)
