    Congrats on Tadashi for graduating, at least he's out of that hellhole (granted, he's also probably flopping into another one, but oh well). I like the decision to make their team sort of a mixture of people with different goals, and for Raidou to just try and facilitate that and give them some guidance and understanding of basic skills while letting them figure out their own specializations. A lot of people tend to stick their teams with the basic three sorts of teams you see in the Konoha 9 (heavy-hitters/frontline assault NaruSasuSaku, info-gathering/intelligence InoShikaCho, and tracking KibaShinoHina), so it's interesting to find something difficult, particularly to the point that the team doesn't even have a specific theme around it.

    I'm curious about the ages, isn't Hana 6 years older than Kiba? And Tadashi 3 years older than Shikamaru? So how are they in the same class? Did Hana get held back several years, or is this a bit of an AU in terms of her age? And ooh, Kabuto's gonna be in the group, wonder how that'll affect things. I mean, I doubt he's on a mission to observe Tadashi, but if he notice's something's weird about his teammate (particularly when Tadashi doesn't know about the manga and thus won't know to be on guard around him), he'll probably start keeping a closer eye on him. I love it and hate it when people are obliviously in dangerous situations, the former because it's entertaining and gripping and the latter because I'm interally screaming that they notice something's up.

      Yeah, the teams just seemed to be kinda a logic thing? Because all of those other genin had to go /somewhere/, just because they're not main characters doesn't mean they suddenly stopped existing. And we saw some pretty old genin in the chunin exams arc, so I was trying to puzzle out a reason for it. So I figured that teams that aren't primary combatants would have specializations instead!!

      And yeah... It's about a year off for Hana. Tadashi is four years older than Shikamaru (he'll be sixteen when Shikamaru graduates at age twelve), and Hana is one year older than him. I figured that one year isn't too much of an age difference. It really just depends on when she first entered the academy. But Hana is awesome!! I really wanted to include her.

      And as for Kabuto... Well, I guess you'll just have to wait and see. ;) Thanks for reading, as always, and I hope that you continue to enjoy!
